I heard this on FFVII: Bootleg which the link had a bunch of mods which included a soundtrack with this version on it for the PC version. Best mod ever. This song made battles that much more enjoyable. If Square does decide to remake the original I hope they buy this song from the fans who remixed it. Would be the best thing to include ever.
Ahahaha! When I first watched FF7, I made my friend make the battles drag on untill I got to hear the flute. So naturaly, listening to this overclocked remix for the first time, I waited and waited to hear my favorite part. And, naturaly, they put it at the very end. But waiting excited for 5 minutes made it all the more enjoyable when I finally heard it!
@Bala666 i know late reply but you replied late too~ so anyways i never cared for aerith, neither did i care for sephiroth or cloud. what i cared about was that zack helped out cloud and i guess that means even tho you dont care for something doesnt mean you cant aleast try right? so crisis maybe was a flawed game but it had purpose
@XxSoulxXXxEaterxX crisis is a shit of game that the only good that it has is a name, FF7 on it. If you think deeply, the only thing that made that game (crisis=average) good was that it was continuing the best story in videogames history. You only liked it cuz u saw aerith again.
@Bala666 How can you say that? Firstly, learn some grammar before trolling and insulting other people's opinions. Secondly, if you think that the person in question only liked it cuz' aerith appeared, you're obviously wrong. Crisis Core had a beautiful story, beautiful gameplay, and exceptional graphics. Obviously, Crisis had to be good, otherwise the people at IGN and Gamespot wouldn't have given it the amazing reviews it has. If you think you're better than them, please go away.
Ugggh, why does it wait for the end to use the sweep? Both the original AND Crisis Core uses it early an often, beginning at around 1 min of the respective themes. It the remixer planned to wait for the end for a finale, the wait wasn't worth it ;_;
I know your comment was 9 years ago, but I'm still gonna say it - life ain't all about instant gratification, kid. Sometimes you gotta wait for the good shit!
This is like dream theater meets ff7, holy shit!

You can always suggest/request remixes from a particular game on the forums at OCRemix
BEST REMIX OF A SONG EVER MADE
SnappleMan, this and Dead Batteries are my favorite songs by him.

i woulda been delighted if you guys did a remix of SOLDIER Battle from crisis core, but it seems as you guys didnt do any crisis themes :(
It's a perfect example of using tension and release in music. They made this worth the wait and a great end to it. Love this track so much.
Maybe I'm A Lion
way much better than The Black Mages version!
Awesome guys, awesome. See, they should have had a third form of Sephiroth in the game, and this should have been his theme :P
The breakdown in this song is sickkkkkk
I do think this is the best song in this albem
if this was in the original game, every random battle would've been double the fun! XD
man, I could dance to thsi all night.
*dances*
Two people lost to the scorpion in the ShinRa Reactor.
still the best :)
Fun fact: This version is featured in a fan-made game called "Avalanche."
And this game is tons of fun! Very hard, but fun as hell!
How does one play this version?
I made a cinematic video in dissidia of cloud whooping jecht and tidus ass with this song hahaha
this makes me wanna punch someone in the face just to start a fight!

Are these all live recordings or digitally added? If they are live recordings, a video of the drummer playing would be great.
@JackSpadeTaylor Then I would have loved to run around the map...
i heard this in ppgs vs rrbs
like if you do
lol
