Cleveland Cavaliers to interview Micah Nori; may have NEW, EXPEDITED timeline to hire head coach

- The Cleveland Cavaliers will interview Timberwolves assistant Micah Nori for their head coaching vacancy - the fifth known candidate in Cleveland’s search - in the next few days, a person familiar with the meeting told The Associated Press on Monday.
A long-time NBA assistant, Nori assumed bench duties during the playoffs when Minnesota coach Chris Finch suffered a knee injury and had limited mobility.
Nori joins a list of candidates in Cleveland that will continue to grow, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team is not commenting during the search to find J.B. Bickerstaff’s replacement.
ESPN.com was first to report the Cavs’ interest in Nori.
Bickerstaff was fired one week after the Cavs’ postseason ended with a second-round loss to Boston. The Cavs respected the job Bickerstaff did, but feel a new voice is necessary to take the team further.

No to Micah Nori we just watched them not make adjustments against the Mavs.
They tried to make adjustments that’s just what happens when you have Rudy Gobert as your starting center
But I rather Johnnie Bryant anyway him and donovna have the closest relationship also he can actually coach plus he’s a younger black guy he can connect with players better

How about this...Jarrett Allen can shoot 3s....did you know that??...he even has a HIGHLIGHT MIX from college to pros...shooting threes...lots of corner 3s too...thats why im glad we fired JB Bickerstaff..because of his play calls...rotations...matchups..sets...he completely went away from what worked...like a PEON...😅😅..we have a great team..fun fact...did you know that when the cavs had 31 or more assists this season...they were UNDEFEATED!??...and so with ball movement and running the 4 out 1 in....with Jarrett Allen being the corner3 and evan mobley setting the screen and dominating at the rim..its ABSOLUTELY a formula for success as uou saw when they won 21 out of 24 games....jb just didnt knoww what he was doing...

@@thatboionyx6375 He doesn't value positional size and length...smallest team in the nba 1 thru 3. very subpar drafting..Sexton(didn't extend) Okoro (didn't extend) Windler, KPJ, Agbaji,Khalifa flop...just to name a few! Now having to deal with way overpay deals: Strus,DG! Poor salary cap management, no real draft capital after this year. How many players on the Cavs roster bottoms up from 15 to the core 4 are you genuinely excited about moving forward? We have no young positional players with size/length/upside..on team friendly deals. Poor roster construction/fit.
7 years isn't enough for Koby I guess. Glad that the players genuinely love and care about each other! We are small 1 thru 3 and we don't move/share or push the ball! That's our identity!

Instead he tries to win with 2 centers, no real 4, and two ball do I ant guards.; there has been no insistence that Mobley gain weight and strength; and he will not hire the one true coach to move this team forward:Mark Jackson.
