HUGE thanks for making this video, I was trying to assemble one of these and when I got to the floor part it says "slide the floor down on the rails on the sides" but it wouldnt slide down and I thought I was going to break something lol
I'm trying to assemble my box and I get to the end and my cover won't close. Is there a certain way we have to connect the top so that my top can close ??
@@makavelid2336 The cover is a bit difficult to close, it has parts that fit into each other like lego pieces, also if you notice there are two locks on the top flap, make sure that the two locks arent preventing you from closing the lid.
I find that these are a lot easier to assemble with a pair of pliers, applying just enough pressure to pinch the tabs in to place. I love these boxes. To date, I have purchased just over 100 of them.
@@HandCraftedDIY1 Heh, I’ve collected comics for just shy of 45 years… AND I had a shop in the 80s/90s. That said, it sounds a lot more impressive than it actually is, because I sold off most of my good stuff in the 90s when I had the shop. And whenever I notice something get hot (like going from $10 to $100), I tend to sell it off. Basically, I just have an enormous pile of $1 to $5 books (that are well protected).
Pretty good containers, the only thing I dont like about them is that their a bit expensive compared to plastic totes and the second thing I dont like too much about them is that they fit a little too snug for golden age comics + backer boards, its really easy to scuff up a comic when putting it inside the container because its almost an exact fit.
I almost sliced my wrist open on these sharp plastic edges while trying to assemble this thing. Are you people crazy?! How about re-designing it with blunt edges instead of razors !
The lids do not close.. I tried for hours and hours trying to figure how the top lid alignes but they don't!!!!! can't seem to close the lid and they don't even have any way to close.. Worst product ever!!!
Mine did not click together that quickly or that smoothly. Tbh honest I wish they came pre-assembled. I'd pay the extra shipping
How do you know the plastic bins are acid free? Do you wait 25 years and check? Has there been any independent test done?
Is there an easy way to dissemble this?
What product do you have that goes on exterior card holdet?

Holy! Do you own your own comic shop or just one hell of a collection?

Just curious do the bins fit in cube storage
Do they sell a Box that can hold 300 Comics ???
This looks great but am looking for one that holds a few more. 250 maybe.
They sell longer versions of these on their website too.
It may be more than the cardboard, but it has a longer life and is cheaper than some wood shelves I’ve seen.
I have comic boxes that are 30 years old. They are dong fine.
Jordan Peterson surprise voice acting
Yea totally snapped a few tabs on my box trying to lock it in.
I wanna know why my brand new box is so dirty. Lol.

Ha!
I noticed your bcw short box bins are on back order until almost June.
🤦♂️ Who's running your business?
The designer should be fired. These things are virtually impossible to put together. You will rage out. Expect 30 minutes or more to get it together.

Lol they certainly do close. You just have to use your brain power.
You have to close it exactly as he does at the end. Slowly close both lids simultaneously.
online instructions did not help me. better to use the paper instructions that came with it.
