Great vid! Got Train sim world 2020 a few months ago on PS4..... love playing Canadian Oakville ..... looks so realistic after watching your vid. Looked at that McMillan yard on maps..... geez it's freaking massive, just North of downtown Toronto
I see where you get so inspiring to what you run on Q& NE model railroad. Oh my goodness i am no doubt a CN fan. I love that CN Tower building never seen anything like this. Don't worry about the wind this video is excellent I definitely want to model all what i just viewed. Imagine CN coming into Q & NE 🤔💭well I know It's my duty to model this. Thank you so much for filming this i wish this video was a little longer i enjoyed this that much. 👍🎥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🟥⬜⬛❤💛
Nice to see my old workplace from 1967 to 1995. I drove trucks and tractor trailers out of the CN xpress Freight Terminal, what is now Clark Transportation. Worked in the Container division just north east of the hump hauling containers then last ten years worked the cranes for loading and unloading containers. The last time I was there they were still using the old engines with the slug but see they finally retired them for new stock. Photo on the right here is me back in the days.
Those SD40s can be operated in beltpack as well, they are insanely powerful for yard use. They're typically used as humpsets, but occasionally used on yard pulldown assignments as seen there.
Great stuff Sheldon! Even better knowing I was there with you last year, how time flies?? Must be about time I started planning my next trip!! Cheers Gregg .
