Love to buy one. As of this date nobody has one in stock. I'm jealous of all you reviewers.🙂Update: I've had mine for about six months and I would say I am whelmed. Not over or under just, meh. Unless you play a lot of games {I don't) it's hard to justify the cost. I think I would have been just as happy with a regular 4k LCD monitor that supported HDR. My old Dell Ultrasharp was only 60MHz refresh rate with no HDR so this an upgrade but I wouldn't do it again.
Hello I'm looking to buy this monitor for the PS5 coming from a tv. Without any speakers, how to connect to an audio outpuf like external speakers or a soundbar? Thank you!
I mean, I currently have dual 32 inch 60 Hz refresh HD monitor for my set up. Yes it is a 1080P monitor and it’s a big 32 inch display so you could see the pixels. Definitely thinking about upgrading to a better monitor and this one was perfect because I did not want to compromise on the size of the display but at the same time I want a good quality display with high refresh rate. And this monitor fits everything 32 inches, 4K, 240 so high refresh rate. But the cherry on top is the fact that it’s an OLED which is a big deal because I can’t get over the fact that my main monitors for my main gaming PC set up are not sharp. And for other people, maybe they don’t really care or can’t even tell the difference but I could tell the difference due to the fact that I do daily drive a 15 ProMax, 23 M3 Max MacBook Pro 16in, 24 iPad Pro 13in, and an Ultra Watch. All these have OLED displays and definitely there’s a big difference between OLED and a regular non OLED display. But the price might be a little steep, but I’ll probably just buy one out of the two monitors and it will be my main monitor out of the 2.😊
I'm still debating between these two monitors. as brightness and image definition, @4:33 which reflects reality? you can see in the Asus the clouds are brighter but the mountains are less visible than in the LG image. Also, the bottom right quarter of the screen on the Asus is much brighter than the LG, which reflects reality, is it a cloudy but bright day Or, is it a dark and gloomy day? If its dark and gloomy, then the LG likely best reflects real world circumstances. Without being able to ask the photographer, we have no way to know. Thats my dilemma, I want the most accurate image though I also want the monitor with best text clarity. And the lack of speakers on the Asus is major for me. The lack of USB C and Dolby Vision support by the LG is a bum too🤔 I also much prefer the look of the LG.
I've been saying for years that 4k is basically useless and I was perfectly happy with 1440p. However, as this OLED technology has gotten better and I've been starting to edit video, it has become more attractive. I think I would absolutely pick one of these up in the near future.
I like Your desk setup, may i ask what is your desk size? I have a 59” magnus pro desk and not sure if i should go for the 32” or the 34” i like the curved on asus 34” not sure still on the 32” flat. Thanks
so why didn't this monitor come with display port 2.1 instead of 1.4 ? the nvidia 5090 has double the power of the 4090 so the new cards can support these speeds, but how is it going to utilize those speeds with 1.4?
I have a matte finish on my lg oled monitor and it does a decent job with reflections. I don't miss a glossy finish. But indeed my Lg is a dim monitor. It's fine and the image quality is awesome... if only it had a few nits more.
So what I would like to know if it work well with Mac if it scales fine or no. I have a pc rig and Mac would like to run both obviously for different purposes.
Regarding the "semi-gloss" screen I'd really appreciate some further information on that. My current QNIX2710 matte monitor only reflects ME and it's a super vague black silhouette. This is what I need in a monitor. I cannot have myself being reflected like in a mirror. It's super distracting and I hate it. This thing looks worryingly like it will reflect my face back at me. Should I avoid? What would be an alternative to consider with a matte coating but otherwise very similar performance and features? This is to go with a 4090 and high end i7 processor new build and I was hoping to try out 4K.
I have this monitor. No it doesn't reflect like a mirror or TV. I have my living room behind me I can barely see reflections. It has something special I reckon. It's a good monitor but way too expensive.
Been waiting for a review like this between Asus and LG 4K OLED monitors. Thank you and great job. I feel the heat sink and glossy screen on ROG 4K OLED make Asus the winner.
Oh shit I have never got an OLD monitor because I always thought the text would look crappy but if that problem is fixed it might be the time to upgrade.
Have you had the chance to compare the picture quality in games on a good, modern TV (Mini LED or OLED) with this monitor? I have a good modern Sony Bravia TV, so I know how PlayStation 5 games look on a high-quality modern TV with proper HDR, etc. I’m curious if the picture quality, including HDR and so on, on this PG32UCDM monitor when playing PS5 games will look worse, better, or at least as good as on high-end modern TVs? I remember that gaming monitors of this size used to fall far behind TVs in picture quality, especially in HDR…

As someone who lives in the UK, I am instead planning on getting the Alienware AW3225QF. This monitor is stupidly priced here, as is the MSI alternative.
@@LexLutha Yes that's what I thought. I have the UQX and it is unsurpassed in 99% of any content but the haloing in scenes with multiple small bright spots against a dark background as well as the reverse haloing in gray/foggy scenes means that immersion can be broken and the cheapest OLED could laugh in its face in certain specific scenarios. Still I am hesitant to go for the UCDM because I use my monitor (a lot) for office work as well as gaming plus I have an LG C1 as a second monitor which is absolutely fine as an OLED monitor if I want to play a game that would suffer from haloing on the UQX. I am still not convinced that the UCDM would be a good all-in-one option despite the 3 year burn-in warranty. The UQX is really sturdy and I am completely care-free displaying static content on it for hours on end, I would probably be paranoid with the UCDM. I have been using the UQX for thousands of hours of work and play and there is zero degradation in the picture, zero dead pixels, no lighbleed and excellent uniformity in a way that it makes it hard not to forgive the 1% failure in some very specific scenarios.

Is that power cable management as bad as it looks? I want to use it in a VESA mount arm, but it won't look as good with that power cord drooping down. Can it be arranged?
it will look clean with vesa mount arm
I solved this problem by making a trip to Home Depot. They sell many products for running power wires outside your walls.
What should I pick? Q27G2, G271CQR, 25G3ZM, AG323FCXE, PG27Q15R2, hyperx armada 25 240hz they are similar in pricing
how good is it for work thou? coding and so?
Waiting for 27 inch version. Ideally with KVM switch. That will be my true endgame monitor.
32 inch is not that big tbh. 27 feels like ass now
Same
Great in depth review!
At the lowest adjustment how tall is the monitor?
I’m waiting for the PA32UCDM. Perfect HDR and SDR, it really does change the game, color accuracy and tracking is important
4:01 please tell me, what keyboard do you use?
5:24
Are you going to test the Dell AW3225QF. And if so. Is the video soon ready? 😀
How were you able to get it? I see it’s sold out everywhere
Lol what do you think? He is a reviewer, Asus sent it out to him for him to review.
I bought an open box, have not received yet, hope there is no issues with it 🤞
Hello I'm looking to buy this monitor for the PS5 coming from a tv. Without any speakers, how to connect to an audio outpuf like external speakers or a soundbar? Thank you!
Does the ASUS have clearer text than the LG or are they both similarly good?
What is the name of that CPU cooler you're using?
Ordered today this one, hope my old 3090ti will work for the next year with this monitor. Think ingo for a upgrade with the 5000x series
Please could you answer me what is the best monitor for me to get for a PS5? Thanks
Is this a huge difference from the 27 inch version though?
So which would be better, this or the Dell Alienware AW3225QF?
this is the real question
What would this be like for photo and video editing on Mac mini ?
is there any 4k qd-oled 240hz monitors that are bigger than 32 inch that out now or some that are comming ?
is this one better than the samsung oddyssey oled g8? what is the difference?
Man if they priced this at 900-1000 it would’ve sold like hot cakes. 1.3k is too much bro
Plenty of competition though, so I reckon we'll see deals soon. The MSI and Alienware alternatives are around 1K (I'd go with the MSI)
LG 32 4K 240hz white version is $1000
Down to 1K on amazon right now.
I've been saying for years that 4k is basically useless and I was perfectly happy with 1440p. However, as this OLED technology has gotten better and I've been starting to edit video, it has become more attractive. I think I would absolutely pick one of these up in the near future.
what keyboard are you using?
What game was that game with the big gun? The first person shooter
Can you make a comparison with the LG W-OLED?
LG: fucked up EOTF in HDR, lower brightness, lower color gamut, no burn in warranty, no usb-c at $400 more (compared to msi qd oled)
I'll be eyeing that monitor when the 5090 drops! I have the Asus XG27AQM with the 3090 and it looks fantastic. Itching for 4K!
Can you review pg39wcdm? There are no reviews for it yet
So what I would like to know if it work well with Mac if it scales fine or no. I have a pc rig and Mac would like to run both obviously for different purposes.
This without the burn in would be the absolute perfect monitor
Are you going to be looking at the new lg g4 oleds? the 83 inch would be nice to see.
What is that desk you are using in the video?
Bought one 2 months ago for $2,900. Still hasn’t arrived as stock is so bloody low. Ridiculous by the time it arrives a better one will come out
Been waiting for a review like this between Asus and LG 4K OLED monitors. Thank you and great job. I feel the heat sink and glossy screen on ROG 4K OLED make Asus the winner.
The only issue is QD-Oled blacks are literally grey.. Hoping thes WOLEDs will be mecca this year
they are gray while you flash torch light at panel or sunlight while woleds have washed out colors no matter the condition kek.
Oh shit I have never got an OLD monitor because I always thought the text would look crappy but if that problem is fixed it might be the time to upgrade.
4K with 140ppi and upgraded sub pixel layout = text is tack sharp
Just hold on to your current monitor a little longer and you will have yourself an OLD monitor, far cheaper than buying one.
I have the MSI version, how is this any different?
If that...
Msi is very much the same, I have the mpg 321urx and is gorgeous!!!
I also have the MSI , it's 450 bucks cheaper here in Canada , and 140 bucks steam credit !
Cope
Has anyone heard anything about when Amazon or Newegg will have this back in stock?
Hi, have a question
What about customer service and the warranty system of Asus
I heard they are not the best at providing customer service and warranty for their products
Is it worth buying from them in this situation?
They are right up there with my wife.
As someone who lives in the UK, I am instead planning on getting the Alienware AW3225QF. This monitor is stupidly priced here, as is the MSI alternative.
Hello my friend This monitor has a speaker ?
This monitor will only be avialable end of May un the UK. How come you already have one???
Will the ROG ACL01 desktop mount kit work?
I wish they'd make a cheaper model with 27" 1440p 144hz still OLED and same HDR specs
I suspect we might get something like that down the line. For now they probably don't want to eat into sales of this with a cutdown model
How does the HDR compare to the PG32UQX?
The UQX smokes it but the haloing on the UQX is rough. I had both. I would probably pick the OLED just because the haloing.
Hey please help!
Which monitor would be the best value for money among the following?
-LG UltraGear 27GR83Q-B - 320 EUR
-MSI G274QPX - 450 EUR
-AOC AG274QG - 350 EUR
Can the light of front logo be turned off? Kinds of annoying seeing that red light all the time.
you can turn off all led light including power ON indicator led
