I really enjoyed this. My girlfriend's parents had a house in Valencia province, so the bit about Christmas and food brought back memories as we were friends with the owners of a Dutch restaurant there. Sadly we heard they died in the recent floods. Best wishes to all there this Christmas and to anyone reading this. Also I am from Yorkshire, where leftover Yorkshire puddings are eaten as a treat with treacle, so jam is not that strange. I like them with gravy too and with beef well done. My Dutch friend refused to serve beef to me like that as he said it ruined it. A video from US suggested it showed I was from a poor family as it is a stereotype there.
Such a brilliant podcast - I had so much fun watching it! But seriously, what on earth is going on at Chelsea FC Women? First, we had the Irn-Bru incident, and now the Gravy scandal! The club really ought to organise a crash course for the players from abroad - something like “20 British Essentials You Need to Know”. Or even better, they could compile all of this and similar moments from the existing podcast videos into one educational video for new players. Problem solved! 😉
