Wonderful video. Would be even better, if you included more technical data: the actual DTCs (codes and text) from the diagnostic applications, and all the labels on the parts that you disassemble like the battery pack, modules and so on.

Judging from 18:37 this is a pre-facelift Nissan X-Trail (T32) Hybrid (Model Year 2015-2016). I wonder if it kept this type of battery after the facelift starting MY 2017.
It is interesting, it has cylindrical 4.4 Ah cells in it, and not prismatic 4.4 Ah cells (both by Hitachi) like Pathfinder Hybrid or Infiniti QX60 Hybrid.
They are actually the same 2015 and 2017... and yes... you right about the li-ion cells... thank you foe your comment

Did you consider using friction welding to re-assemble the split input shaft shown at 17:22? If done right, that would free you from having to purchase replacement parts. Especially as replacement parts will likely show a similar failure after some time.
Yes indeed but it won't work... cause of the shaft's shape... so it is better to just replace it...
You were able to buy these parts new ? or had to source from wrecked vehicles ?

I use the prolong charger that matches with the similar voltage... it is very safe but takes time... so far the work great...
Hello. I have a NISSAN X-TRAIL HYBRID 2016 (JAPAN) 20cc and when engine kicks in from EV mode to petrol it vibrates.
The mechanic told me that the car needs a vibration damper with a spring. What do you think? Do you know where I can find a vibration damper? because I live in Cyprus and I can't find a store to buy it.
Or do you have any other thoughts/ideas about how to fix this problem in other way?

Flywheel vibration damper it is a common issue indeed that in time os goes bad and make noises and vibrates of course... i will recommend to get it foreign used or brand new from japan...

What preventative measures can one take to avoid this from happening ?
Have one that makes a screeching sound on engine startup. Electric motor spins for a couple seconds then clutch applies and screech sound happens for a moment. Suspected it is in the clutch assembly possibly that input shaft starting to fail and then it grabs. My question is have you seen the dampener make screeching noise on gas engine startup? Is the electric motor suppose to spin up to 1500 rpm then clutch applies or should clutch apply and then electric motor starts spinning? Also having intermittent p0715 which could be cause by clutch 2 slipping, or a bad sensor. Wiring is good. Toyota/Nissan tech from Canada working in Cayman but we have almost none of these hybrids in canada so unfamiliar with common faults just looking for some more experience before making the call. Thanks
Also curious of that input shaft, is it splines and the splines stripped out or is it press fit and then welded? If pressure fit then it may screech and then grab. Disassembly to confirm not exactly an option
