- This weekend I came across a flea market vendor with a box of mixed sports cards for $20. I saw some decent rookie cards on top, so I decided to try my luck - let's see what we can find.

Wow this was a nice one for $20! I love mystery boxes. Steve Young rookie was nice surprise, and those 86 fleer basketball are also sweet finds. I just made my way through a 40 pound mystery box, hopefully will have the highlights up soon

Wow! You'd never find a box like that in the Seattle area! I'm going through a box that I purchased off Ebay, listening to you and my head snapped at Wayne Gretzky and Brett Hull. Then you said George Brett and that was it! I had such a crush on George when I was 12 (ages me haha). I try to collect everything George ❤

I used to see a bunch of the big penny sleeves in the 80s and 90s so those cards have been in those a long time !!! Great box for $20 .... Wish I'd found it!!
1960 Jim Kaat! I’m trying to collect a 1961 Topps set. Commons weren’t too tough (except the high numbers) but Kaat and Gibson and . . . .are a lot tougher. If your willing to deal I’m willing to listen.

No doubt. I remember finding my grail card. Wayne Gretzky rookie. I KNEW I had it. Somewhere. I had the 10,000 ct boxes. My 2nd box BAM. Along with a Marcel Dionne rookie. Then 10 yrs later it was stolen. Advice to teens DONT TRUST ANYONE. A "friend" ripped me off.
U got some sick card's out of this box , totally worth it, love the jim katt rookie card.

Young's rookie was in the 85 USFL set, but the 85 Topps is worth a 100 bucks over 8.5.
I had the entire Jordan rookie set and stickers. I sold it in 1992 for $150 before I went away to college
Really ridiculous 20 dollar box. I lucked out similarly a few years ago with a 100 dollar box and found all 1969 to 1976 baseball and football unsearched. Aaron, Brett, May's, etc and 2 nice Walter Payton rc from 1976. And commons and stars..better than Christmas! Congrats!

Dang guy I've NEVER found any good boxes like that at flea markets or yard sales. The 1960 Jim Kaat is well worth the $20 to me. One of my favorite pitchers. You wanna sell it?
Anyone ever see or have the "Topps Big" before?.. I'm not talking about the sideways cards from the late 80's, the cards I'm talking about were issued in 1984 & 85 - they looked exactly like the regular issue but they were gigantic, perhaps 4.5 x 7.5??? maybe an inch larger... I always thought they were really cool..... Nice Kaat and Clemens RC, I bet you weren't expecting that to happen, lol

Ooh those big Donruss cards. Yikes I had those monsters. I prefered my 75 Mini's...lol. Yeah I had a Yount AND a Brett. I traded a 65, & a 67 Carl Yastrzemski, a Fred Lynn(r) and Jim Rice rookie and some other stuff for them, back in 1983. Again good ol days.
I got fresh brand new $100 dollar bills$ for that box and you will profit 80 bucks lol sounds like a great deal for me lol good video bro
The Rivers and Eli manning rookies should bring a decent amount since both look to be finishing their careers

I was curios to what you can buy at a flea market in the states. Here in Newfoundland we don't find anything like that. Ha. Last night I was looking through some Fleer Metal BAsketball from
Mid 90’s and loved it. Over the top but done well. One of the few times modern didn’t turn me off.
Raleigh Al I liked the Metal Universe sets from the mid 90s for baseball. Some of those had some awesome designs. Never seen the basketball though.

I had a similar experience. I bought a box of baseball cards for $20 at a flea market. I got half the set of '96 Donruss Elite and half the set of '96 Donruss Round trippers. Five Griffey rookies from Donruss, Fleer and Topps Update.

Wow Jon!If your willing to part with it I would LOVE that Phillip Rivers Rookie Card.Solid and reliable Quarterback for the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers.He’s going to be one of those guys like Fred McGriff who had a fantastic career and put up great numbers but is just short of the HOF even though he definitely deserves to be in there!

The best cards are in the first Sports Illustrated edition, you have to cut them out very carefully.
I just joined your channel and this is stuff I actually dream about. I literally have dreams of finding vintage gold like this. Utahs flea market is trash and the only Good card shop that had bid boards for anything remotely close closed years ago. I might start hitting yard sales but I wont hold my breath.

I see a Mark McGuire Rated rookie card in that box that was one of my favorite card of his besides his USA card...

I got a similar box like this for $10 , I did a video on it , it wasn't nearly as strong as this box however it did have the Billy Ripken Dirty word error card , would have been awesome if I had that in the early 90s...this box was amazing , I was on the edge of my seat!
It's ironic how the best pictures were taken on the Fleer 1991 baseball cards. Yet they were the most mass produced

Hey, great find. Just found this video. A lot of great stuff in that box. I realize that this was nearly a year ago and the likelihood is next to nill, but if you still have the Joe Theismann card and any of the Tom Seavers that were there, I would be interested in a price.
