The more I listen to Mohnish, the better I like him. He is without ego as are most great investors, and is very well read. He does his research and thinks about all the metrics while looking at different businesses.
It was a very good publication. Thanks to Mohnish Pabrai's videos, I learned how to be an investor and how an investor should think. The examples he gives for Turkey are the parts that investors should watch very carefully.

What's the hurry?
I like how he invested in Turkey in businesses that don't get affected much from inflation. If the Arab countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE diversify their businesses, Turkey can play as a major partner in many fields. The airports business is so complex like the airlines business but definitely if you play your cards well you have a monopoly. Didn't understand why he is not long with Alibaba and Tencent anymore like he used to be. Overall great interview as always!

I’m not being disrespectful at all and this is a genuine question. What makes Mr. Pabrai “legendary” as the title suggests? I’ve seen this term used with Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and even people like Warren Buffet. But maybe I’ve missed Mr. Pabrai’s achievements. Please illuminate.
he has good long-term track record. That said, i wouldn't call it legendary record tho
he's setup dakshana foundation in India, look it up ! hundreds of children are being educated and more.

Very disappointed to see Mohanish lying first time. He knows very well the corruption of Adani
if you listened to carefully - he ducked the question more or less except speaking briefly about strength of business and how expensive it is. Didn't get into corporate governance issues and highlighted the fact that large indian mutual funds do not own Adani

May be that is why he says that some day Charlie and Warren will find out who the hell he really is and kick out of the circle.

@poonam pal you are probably making an assumption that he knows. He probably knows the difference between fact and story. While there is a good chance that adani turns out to be crook, it is still not proven. So pabrai doesn't want to speak on something he doesn't know.

Legendary? He averaged 11% in the last 20 years. I averaged 12.7% in the last 20 years, am I legendary? Give me a break
Manage small amount of money is much easier than huge amount. For small amount, I have made 20x within one year, but it is definitely not for big money

Given that There Is No Alternative (TINA) was prevalent for most of the last twenty years, those are lukewarm results. Still, satisfactory if not too much risk was engaged in making those gains.
