Well, what to say? 🤔 Got it - You are brave! 😁 Stranger is one of Dimash's iconic songs, so I kinda understand the harsh respond from Dears 🤭 on the other hand, u took the song to a completely different ganre, so it's understandable, that it sounds absolutely different and it has nothing to do with the original. As I said, you are brave 😁 metal style of singing is not my cup of tea, but I must say, I really liked the growl sound in the zero octave 😁 and one more thing, I have a problem with believing the eight octave... When Dimash reached the eight octave in Unforgettable Day , it sounded way much higher - like when water boils in a tea pot. Yours sounded way lower.... Keep on trying and be ready for the storm, that falls on your head from Dears 👍😁
Yea I absolutely expected Dimash fans finding this too different but the overwhelmingly destructive comments are not what I thought I'd see. Thank you for being reasonable 😅And for G8, I sent the isolated unmixed vocal track to someone here who claimed I processed and pitch shifted everything. I did use 2 takes and mashed those together, but there's no weird studio business. ua-cam.com/video/jNEgZ5hUiQg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BlazeMusic 2:43 is the timestamp for the G8. You can probably hear it more clearly here. But yea thanks for the comment and I've already decided to cover a different song (maybe Your Love?) closer to how Dimash does it to see if that sits better with his fans than using my own voice (even though I hate flat out imitation because no matter how good you are, you can never be the original, but eh 😅 If that's what his fans want, I can try). But yea I'm strict on proving this because I didn't practice singing techniques for years just for random people to call it fake
@@BlazeMusic-hj6mn Unfortunatelly, there is nothing you can do 🤷🏼♀️ that's the way some Dears are... For them, he is untouchable... The way you covered it changed the song way too much. Too many weird jumps for my ears 🤔 when Dimash sings, it sounds like silk. His transitions are smooth. Your version sounded to me like u were raping the song (just being honest 😌). But why not, if u like to experiment 😁 Another thing is being called fake after years studying a certain thing. Dimash is very often being accused of lipsyncing. I do not say he never lipsyncs (sometimes he just has to, I understand that), but those, who keep saying that, don't realise, that he spent literally his entire life mastering his vocal technique... And then random people appear, trying to cover uncoverable 🤷🏼♀️ He is unique, that's a fact. His tone is the thing, that cannot be imitated.... You can try to cover Your Love, I will check it out 😁

@@dear4dimash_lenka143 I would say everyone is uncoverable if you are trying to sound EXACTLY like them. If Dimash tried to cover me or my songs, he couldn't sound exactly like me either, because his voice is just different. At least to me the purpose of a cover is to give it a new spin or unique interpretation, not to repeat verbatim what someone has already done. And even preferences differ. Dimash fans prefer Dimash, but metal fans (some even in these comments) prefer my version, actually, and don't understand what Dimash fans are upset about at all. The like ratio on this video is 70%, 30% dimash fans I guess and most people (70%) who are used to my metal covers and see absolutely no problem with this. Honestly, this has been quite an interesting experience. I don't know about lip synching for him but I personally know for a fact TV shows notoriously don't allow live singing anymore, especially in Asia, where there's almost a cultural obsession with perfection in Kpop, Jpop, Vitas, Dimash, you name it. Asia is very big on that so it makes absolute sense and I completely understand people think most his performances are lip synched (and some very probably are). But there's plenty of off-stage footage of Dimash to know he's legit and that he sung these things at least for the backing track and that's already impressive enough. I'll do Your Love, but I have some other projects planned, I'll get on it some time in spring and see what comes of it. But I'm not even gonna try to claim I'll sound exactly like Dimash, it's impossible just based on the fact that no 2 voices are alike, like 2 fingerprints aren't. I'll tone down the metal and give it a more "Dimash" approach and let's see what happens. But yea thanks for being reasonable, I appreciate it
so just to let you know, I applied for a guinness world record (for highest note, since I hit G8 in this video) and I had to find academic musicians to agree to supervise the attempt. I showed both witnesses this cover when we talked about Dimash and both of them were blown away with how much I added to Dimash's performance. In their eyes I blended metal techniques really well with classical style and made smooth transitions to distorted vocals from long sustained notes which they found is insane. And ofc the range was legit. It was actually this video that got them to agree to witness for the attempt. And well, we all laughed at the overly fangirly Dimash fan comments, including yours. So I mean....the Dimash fandom can hate me all they want but I think I'll take the word of academics and consider your opinion funny.
😅 Yeah, ohh dear. I call this a destruction of a very unique song. My ears are bleeding and I can't help it. This was really something quite opposite, can't even call it a cover. I was thinking about some animal noise in a deep scary rainforest filled with monsters.
I absolutely agree it would be better, since that's my comfort zone. That was my original idea but I couldn't find a metal instrumental and I don't have the equipment to record it myself, unfortunately. However, stepping way out of my comfort zone like this was also a fun challenge. I already decided I'll cover another Dimash song but do it less metal, let's see how that works...
