Subject :acceptability of usage of animal in scientific
research.
Respected sir,
I am XYZ, a regular reader of your esteemed dailies and would like protest against the usage of animals in scientific research.
If my opinion is published, it will not only created awareness in civil society but also will lessen cruelty on animals via scientific research.
Once pioneer sociologist H.Risley penned, "Mankind and it's society is ever evolving and we are just small episodes in its mighty timeline". During this evolution process we came across various challenges, some of them even threatened to wipe out entire human existence like Spanish flu or Covid19. In the battle of survival of the fittest we have our best minds working in labs and as latent a lot of innocent animal lives are lost, who have nothing to do our existence!
Well it had been termed as 'necessary evil' to hide our selfish reasons.
Animals much like us,are biologically highly evolved beings. Who feel pain paralleled to us. So analogically, If lab experiments on human beings by Nazi scientists was crime, animal cruelty is too. In 20th century UN published a report called, "World for both of us", which mentioned that both animals and man has right to live and right against cruel experiments. Later on UN started observing one day every year thanking the contributions of animals who loss their lives in lab experiments.
Various NGOs today like PETA, are fighting for the same cause and in my opinion usage of animals in scientific experiments must be curtailed to the minimum and absolute necessity. Concluding by Quoting Martin Luther, "Live and let live".

I said 'generally And is not used', I didn't mention that its an grammatical error. I had this letter checked by a newspaper editor before posting and she recommended the same.
