Great job! Only thing I would have done is add a splash of white wine and flambee it off. Yum! By the way, just a friendly tip here, take the upper windscreen off to light the burner and add the diffuser. It makes it so much easier 😉 you earned a new sub, though!!
Tip: it’s easier to light the burner with the wind screen part off, might also be easier to put the simmer ring on that way. It’s easy to re-attach without moving the entire thing if you pay attention to where the slots are.
That is exactly the one I have! Love it. I did eventually switch to a non-stick frypan, but strictly for convenience. Let me know what you make, and thanks for watching!
If you were cooking a pomodoro sauce, would you avoid putting the sauce in the aluminum billy (because of the reaction between the acidity of the tomatoes and the aluminum)?
Steamer basket/pot? Now I have to order another pot or find where I stored some of my spares I’ve removed an replaced with other types from an make one. I like that idea. Edit I seen in the previous video it is a diffuser plate you made. But since you have me on the bandwagon with the firebox gas stove with diffuser. I won’t need to make that. But it made me think. So I’m going to have to see if an how well a third pot may nest. An pop holes into it. An have something in the kit to raise it from a second pot to create a steaming pot/basket now though. Actually put it in my billypot also. But I haven’t tried with the other Trangia pan like this. But under the kit all together I do have 2 aluminum Trangia plates under mine. As far as the strap. Your right. The ones that it comes with is a few inches shy of working. But on the Trangia website you can but separately replacement straps. And they sell one like an xl version of the strap. That’s I can’t remember completely but it’s a bit longer than either of the straps they ship with as the normal kit. Need to order one myself.
It is pronounced Trang-yuh, with a strong "g"... Your 725-24 frypan actually DOES go on the top, like you had it. You need to order the "Strap 85 cm", That will connect your kit all together the way it was meant. ALSO, get the F29 orange bag to fit your whole kit (including the 4.5l Billy).
Enjoying your videos!
I love my Trangia 27 Billy pot. Great addition to the set. Thanks!
I've made some more stuff in it and I'm loving it. About to take it on a week-long trip to Montana. Thanks for watching!

I totally struggle to add the diffuser after I light the thing… It can actually be quite comical. Thanks for watching!
I love my firebox burner. I have the firebox and the trangia gas burner. I rarely use the trangia gas burner

I just got a Trangia 25-7 2 weeks ago. I want to try this out.

Great Video!! thanks so much for your time. Can you tell me where you purchased the gas adapter?
Amazon - thanks for watching!
Hey can you share the link of the adapter? Thanks!
You eat better outdoors than we eat indoors. Looks delicious. Are you a chef?
Thanks for watching. I have some formal cooking education, but I don't work in food service. Too much work. :)
👍🏼
I can't find the firebox burner anywhere online. Can you link to manufacturer?
Firebox.com
@@DansTrangia doesn't look right to me

I didn't order the strap yet, because the shipping is more than the strap! I will with my next real order. Thanks for watching!
