I'm thinking of getting a Proteus also with CX trucks. Do you like CX or do you wish you had gotten your board with C7? Also how do you like the shape of the board? Is it much different from other Carvers like Resin?
I love the proteus! I have it with the CX and it's a perfect combo. The one thing I've noticed is that the concave wheels wear down a lot after you slide and carve so if you are a big slider you should try to get flat wheels. The shape of the board is great.
I’m looking in to getting the CI Flyer with CX trucks, I saw you were doing slides with your boards. So I was wondering if it would work with the 69mm Roundhouse concave wheels that the board comes with? Would it be difficult? Thank you.
I am looking into a surfskate board. I am thinking of a Carver with the CX trucks but I have not owned a surfskate before. I would plan to use this a bunch at my college campus which is fairly hilly but how does this fair uphill. Can I push like a normal board uphill if pumping isn't practical? Thank you so much.
Theo Quenee Hey would you say this could work as a cruiser with regular pushing without being too difficult to balance? I’m thinking about using it as a Surfskate and tightening the front truck when I need to travel around campus.
Bout to pull the trigger on a proteus. You like the 17” wheelbase for carving? I’m coming off a 14” wheelbase carver C7. I’m worried a 17” CX proteus will be too wide of a turning radius. What do you think??
I was thinking about getting a carver skateboard. I have the penny board and longboard and wanted to try something new. What's the advantage of the new the cx trucks or c7
+Danny S Ok, so the CX trucks have less spring in them and they are more similar to the conventional trucks, but that doesn't mean you cant get good carves out of it. The C7 trucks are bulkier and they are a bit more expensive, they are harder to ride the bard backwards while the CX are easier to ride backward. If you aren't going to be doing ricks and jumps then definitely go for the C7. I highly recommend the Proteus deck, its amazing for long smooth carves but you can also get super quick carves with it to. Hope this was helpful let me know if you have any other questions later on and don't forget to subscribe to my channel!!
I find it so relaxing I could pump forever without feeling tired on my carver. These skateboards are truly amazing and I never push it with my foot once I am riding my carver.
Hi Theo, I'm from Brazil and I would like to know which one is the best carver above 30'' for me? I just skating for fun, exercises in the park and flat floor. I have a 5'10 / 83kg Tks my friend
Which one feels more like a surfboard? What I want to do is practice and make better my surf game in land, so which trucks/board will work better for me? Thanks
Hey Molina! It depends what surfboard toto imitate. If you ride short surf boards, go with the CX trucks, if you ride long surfboards then go with the C7 trucks. As for skate decks, shorter boards will be faster and much more maneuverable while longer decks will be slower and more laid back. The proteus deck shown in this video is a great crossover between both sides.
It depends on what you want. A board around 27-33 inches is perfect for almost anything and the C7 trucks are better for cruising. After you have that decided then it all comes down to which deck you like the best! Let me know if you have any other questions.
You should do a proper lesson on how to ride a Carver you would get lots of views I can only find lessons on how to ride a surfskate and they are all in Spanish.
I think on buying the kerzzy snapper with c7 trucks. Would that be good for a beginner to cruise in the city or ride to work?

It will be a little bit hard at first since the wheels are meant for grip. But iver time the wheels will wear out and you can slide easiliy
I just got the carver tie dye 25.5 with CX trucks. I surf a lot so i wanna see how similiar it is
+Chad Ponder yea its a small deck but it should still feel pretty close. the proteus i have feels exactly when i'm surfing when i ride the curbs.

yes! you can push like a normal board, it will take a little bit of getting used to. I would recommend the CX trucks and a board around 30 inches.

ZmannR2 I'm pretty sure mine is 14 and it's perfect for the deck
Theo Quenee if it’s the Proteus it should be 17”

Isn't it a bit exhausting to ride long distances ? I wonder if it is not less tiring to push a cruiser ?
blue1976note you can ride it like a typical cruiser as well!
well the cool thing is you can do both!

Gabriel F Ferrer hey man! The proteus is a great board! It's a very wide board and give you the stability you need

I’m 5”8 what size should I go with also should I go with the Cx or the c7
What would you recommend for just crusing around campus?
I would recommend C7 trucks with a board around 30 inch board
+FutureTobinHeath the Greenroom deck with the C7 trucks would be a good fit!
@@TheoQuenee pumping is harder than pushing
I'm going to buy one, which one and which truck do you recomend me to buy it?

do you think the kerrzy is good or its too small?
+victor oliveira are you good on a skateboard or are you just starting?
im good but this is my first carver,
The "stacked deck" or the "USA resin deck" with the C7 trucks should be a good size and setup
you've just got a new subscriber :P
Hi! Im looking for a Carver for my 6yo kid, don't know which model its better for him.
What do you recommend?
XOXO
Belen Alfonso hey! Since it's a smaller person I would recommend he 25.5" tye stick deck with the CX Mini trucks
Do they sell the trucks by themselves?
Gamesee yea! On their website
are there teams for this type of boarding?
Well I think that Carver sponsors people but I don't know if they have teams
+Theo Quenee I think there are o.0 my friend's brother's friend is in a carver team ....
Is it a little bit like a waveboard ?
yea its a mix between a wave board and a normal skateboard.
No, dude, it's used for carving. Not waving like a waveboard
ElectroV a lot of people are confused between the idea. I just say it is because the motion you use to pump is pretty similar
Are carvers good for beginners?
I wouldn't say so because the simulate a shortboard
Papi I miss u😍
