Honestly 2nd trumpet sounded like he had better projection overall. It may just be the part he was playing though.
I also thought that. I like his part better
2nd tpt slots great on C tpt in this key signature. This mixed with 1st tpt creates some amazing overtones

1st trumpet sounds like hes rushing a bit. Solid sound though, insane articulation

I’m sure Charles Schlueter wanted it to sound rushed. This sense of anticipation, like the music is alive.
