Hi, I think that Ace would enjoy a hygiene kit as well. Maybe some Axe body spray and deodorant. A nice durag or sun visor, and a wave brush, which he probably already has. It doesn't have to be Axe brand, it could be Nautica or Adidas. My nephew really enjoyed getting these items when he was Ace's age and the fragrance is not strong. He thought that he was the man!
You’re such a wonderful mom- I love that you know one kid is more of a “planner” and the other would prefer a “journal”. Those little details are so powerful. It’s just so obvious how much you care and how authentic your relationship is with your little ones! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us!
Jesse Braughton, Christy Gior is a UA-camr and she chooses to share a few minutes of her life with the world through her vlogs. Your comment to her is kind but do not judge her and don't make assumptions. You don't personally know her or her children. We only see what she chooses to air on UA-cam for a few minutes. However, she does seem to be a wonderful Mom and her children do seem to be very well behaved. We only know what we see.
That's the idea! As a parent, you SHOULD know your children better than anyone else in the world! The fact that she knows what her children like shouldn't be a unique thing, it should be standard. It's almost sad that it isn't so common that it doesn't seem special that she does.
Yes my son used to love bath bombs. For Christmas I bought him a pig wool soap ball off Etsy but he’s refused to try it so far. He doesn’t like baths anymore so he’d rather hurry up & use normal soap but maybe one day. I also had gotten him some strawberry shampoo ‘bar’ he hadn’t tried yet but once his current one is gone we’ll be trying that as well & it’s small enough to fit in an egg,so that’s something I’ll keep in mind for next year.
I’m 36-my mom still get me an Easter basket with sandals, underwear, summer sunglasses, and now a swim towel instead of a suit. It’s still how I have stuff ready for spring/summer :) love it 😍
So cute! My parents did until I was 18 was my last one. I made a little Easter basket for my then boyfriend last year. We were both so excited it was super adorable.
I love that you don't add a lot of junk food and that you add practical and every things to their baskets. You are raising amazing and thankful children. Keep up the great job you and your husband are doing.
I love the swimming stuff. Great ideas. Honestly I have tons of fun putting stuff in my boys' Easter baskets! There are so many options, I can't choose them all! I always do some sort of sensory item, which you've got. For my 10-year-old son some options I'm considering (so I'll just do some of these, not all) are kenetic sand, Play-Doh (yes, he still loves it), a STEM kit (like eggs where you dig out dinosaurs like a paleontologist) Lego Jurassic world figures, bubble mix, sidewalk chalk, gardening tools/seeds, beach bucket/shovel, his favorite toothpaste, collecting cards, a new board or card game (he loves them), a new hairbrush, body wash, a personal hygiene kit, swim goggles, videogame accessories, earbuds, pocketknife, sandals, water shoes, hiking boots, different or favorite art or school supplies (this year got solid tempura paint sticks), books he'll love, chocolate, favorite cookies or snack (like your snack idea), instant oatmeal (like your breakfast idea), bath bombs, a cool pillowcase, a fun workbook, a locking journal, a robotics kit, his own tools, camping/survival gear, a cool skull decal sticker for his helmet, and duct tape (he goes through a lot of all kinds of tape, lol)... the list goes on. I can't get everything, lol. Honestly, I'd get similar things for girls if I had daughters. I do shared categories and then base individual items on their personal interests. My 8-year-old son loves stuffed animals, but only specific ones. He also loves Lego, sensory toys, survival gear and art supplies. My 2-year-old needs new galoshes and loves sensory things. Ok, they all love (and need) sensory things.
Lovely job 😘 supermom. I created my daughter's basket for the second time and I have bowed that I will continue to do it from this day forward. It was such a fun job and I cannot wait to see her face all her favorites I added a few candies. All of her favorite things she loves Paris but her room is in a Paris theme therefore I added unicorn rainbow items writing pads pencils but you've inspired me to add clothing and other items next year. Thanks so much.
I really liked music and movies for easter my parents would get me the latest like dvd or cd that i had been asking for. It was really nice to get a new movie and they were cheap dvds at walmart and then we had a movie to all watch together after easter dinner. I love the idea of the nail polish for the older girls. omg kids really are getting obsessed with those push pop it fidget things, the school I worked at had to ban them. haha but the heart purse is very cute.
Christy god knew you was meant to be a mom those 6 babies are so lucky to have you and Ed as parents I'm so hoping you have a BOY but whatever the gender is its already loved by your fans I can't wait.
Its just a winwin to add things they already need 😍 this year i got a bit carried away BUT love adding swimsuits and sandals its a way to welcome summer aswell
Great Easter Baskets ideas, and to think this time next year the baby will have one aswell. You look fantastic, enjoy your family trip and be safe. Amen
I’m pregnant with my first & I just have been making an Easter basket for my husband , I can’t wait to do it for the whole family!! God willing, more kids to come!
Does Ace like Pokemon cards? Other ideas for any of the kids...a beach towel, water toys like squirters, blind bag of some sort, electric toothbrushes are always practical, art supplies, sunglasses, new book or movie, puzzle books, pajamas. Hope those ideas help! Love your baskets!
Maybe goggles for the pool. Seems I always put those in Easter basket when mine was young. Baskets look great and I also used the same basket each year.

Christy, you are looking wonderful at 26 weeks. Slow downs, take the time out to feel and enjoy your first pregnancy. Your kids Easter 🐣 baskets, have practical and fun things to entertain themselves. This is for you great Mom. 💐 I enjoy watching the entire family. 😃
Christy, I lam glad you liked my comment. I do believe you need to take sometime out for yourself. Even the kids, with daddy’s help, would love 💗 to pamper or give mommy a spa day. How special and sweet that will be. 😃
Maybe Ace would enjoy some football collector cards and sleeves. Or a gaming gift card (game stop has boxes to put gift cards in and it's like an 'escape room' to get it out. Maybe that's be fun.. Love what you got him and the girls!! I haven't even started yet 😬😂
Christy, when is your due date? I may have missed it. You could get Ace a game stop gift card or football magazine. Just a thought. You look so fantastic! Love your ideas. You are such an inspiration to me. Say hi to your precious family for me ❤️
You have given me plenty of GREAT ideas for my grandkids' baskets. I never thought about flip flops! I have 6 out of my 7 in your kids' age categories. (2 of ours are adopted which is why I'm here following the hair videos.) I'm adding a couple of extra 9-11 year old Boy ideas: Bunch-o-balloons grenades, Diving toys for pool, Climbing man sticky wall climbers, Legos, Slinky, Yoyo, Dinosaur Bath Bombs! I love your videos.
Oh gosh thank you girl you have given me such a good idea because I always go with the traditional candy basket type of things and I was like breaking my head what I'm going to give my foster kid to what I'm going to give my kids what I'm going to give my grandson thank you so much for this video
My teen boy is a gamer too but loves fidgets spinners still, body care and hygiene kits also great to introduce him to before he needs it so when he does he already knows what deodorant is. Love your videos and find inspiration for things with my own 4 (one being a foster).
They are some very blessed kids! Those baskets are adorable, too! I use to love my Easter baskets as a child. So exciting! I was thinking as a suggestion that maybe you could add jump ropes or a nerf ball for your son. Or some scented lotions for the girls and maybe a book of stickers for each kid. What about candy packs like mini- bars of Twix, Snickers, Reese’s, Nestle’s, etc. with some gum and lollipops. Hope these help but if not I had fun just thinking like a kid again! Blessings!😀
I am definitely a practical mom too!!! I have always made my own baskets for my 2 kids. I think I am going to use the bathing suit idea and the hygiene kit for my 7 yo daughter! My son is 5 so he is excited for special snacks and pool toys. My kids love to read too so I usually add a book for spring break. I was kind of stumped this year because they are getting bigger and their interests are changing.
@@mamiedition Yes!!! It is so sad when you actually have a chance to stop and think about how quickly time goes by! When you deal with them everyday, it is hard to appreciate their age while they are in it😭
I don't have have children but I have a lot of nieces and nephews. They loved coloring books or making their own jewelry, buy fake jewelry. Also you can buy chap sticks and they have like Dr. Pepper, Pepsi or starburst flavored. They have nail polish for younger children it peels off. I get that for my niece and she is 5yrs old. A little photo album that they can decorate and put pictures of them , friends and family. The girls like beading, making bracelets and key chains. For boys I always get like football for the pool and basketball for the pool they enjoy that a lot. I bought my nephew a art book and art set. Wal Mart, Target Joann, Hobby lobby are where you can get all the things I listed. I hope this helps. Have a Blessed day!
A body spray and gift card, game card, my boys love those type of cards!, you can also add silly string from the dollar tree for their baskets too. I honestly loved what you did with the baskets 😍
I love the idea of practical things instead of candy like in the netherlands . Here it is normal to give chocolate eggs en easterbunny's . But this year I will also go for a basket with practical things
Everything is great u got, but wheres the chocolate candy?? I always do a summer theme w/ some practical useful things thrown n toothbrushes, hair ties n bows, inexpensive headphones, beach towels🤷🐰🐣
The baskets are cute but I still like to make my children's baskets still appear to be from the Easter bunny. You can still do practical items, but you just present it differently. For example, I don't leave anything in the original packaging or with price tags on them like she does. I will buy the bigger Easter eggs and roll up a shirt and put it inside. I also put candy and other small items inside eggs. Some items won't fit in the eggs, even the extra large ones, but I put what I can in them. Cute baskets though and good ideas.
Definitely a hygiene kit for Ace. Maybe include a simple manicure kit if he doesn’t already have one. How about a book for each kid and/or their very own library card.
Where's the Easter egg's haha for their pack, I also get my grandchildren lots little things in their Easter packs, I've already started my Christmas shopping Lol
Stuffed animal. Idc how old my kids are they’re getting a stuffed animal on Easter lol now that my kids are a little older I get them the Easter beanie babies so they’re kinda collectible and each year there’s a new one

Won't the older kids want their own room, how many bedrooms is your home, even that big loft room could also be a bedroom plus a study. Our flooring is also a very pale grey floating floors, it really opens up the house, yours also looks fabulous
I just posted my video. I have 2 boys- one of them being 10. He is so hard to shop for because all he wants to do is game and I’m over it so I refuse to buy him any more gaming stuff! Lol 😂
PLEASE READ! I love getting Easter baskets and I’m speaking from a child’s perspective! But instead of leaving them on the counter to see in the morning, you could do some riddles or something for a hunt. If that’s too much you could also simply hide them around your house for the kids to find! I love doing that every year! Great places to hide it: (aka, where I’ve found mine in the past) -oven -cabinet -behind a couch -behind curtain(window) -behind doors -dog kennel
since you said ace is into sports maybe get him a soccer ball, football, or frisbee ! or maybe a pool toy/game like the rings or rockets that you dive for

I agree getting Ace his own hygiene kit is cool too

you such a good mum for actually caring for your kids
Body wash or bath supplies (bombs/fizzers/paint) are great to add to Easter baskets!
Yes!! Thank you
I get my niece lots of bath items .because they do have a tub in their home she loves it😍

I’m 39 & miss an Easter basket. My mom moved to Texas 3 yrs ago & that’s when she stopped making them for me & my sister lol 😭🍬🍭 🥚 🍪
I would love to get an Easter basket! Lol
@Denise Huang such a great idea
I make my husband one and some cousins (older adults) one too honestly its as much fun as filling the kid baskets😍
So cute! My parents did until I was 18 was my last one.
I made a little Easter basket for my then boyfriend last year. We were both so excited it was super adorable.
I can’t wait to see their reactions. They’re always so appreciative!
The way you select thing to the baskets shows how much you love and know your children! They are sooooo lucky to have a mom like you!

Great Easter Baskets ideas, and to think this time next year the baby will have one aswell. You look fantastic, enjoy your family trip and be safe. Amen
Do you have a traditional theme for Easter baskets?
We don't. I just buy whatever I think my boys will like. They're 10 & 13 so their baskets are less toys and more practical stuff. They love them💙🧡
I’m pregnant with my first & I just have been making an Easter basket for my husband , I can’t wait to do it for the whole family!! God willing, more kids to come!

Love your baskets! I added a few books for summer reading to my nine year old sons basket.
Lilly’s pop-it purse is so adorable!!! She’s going to love it! (I’m also Lilly! Well Lillyann but I go by Lilly. Named after my G-Ma)

Great stuff!! Love the breakfast idea!!!
This was a awesome video, I think each kid should have a hygiene kit, great idea

I love the Hygiene bag idea for the girls. Thanks for sharing
These are really good Easter baskets! I like to add Bibles or devotionals to my kids baskets along with all the treats.

Like she said adding things they already need is such a win lol
We’ve done those toys,so much fun.
I loved this! So thoughtful.
You are spoiling the belief of the Easter bunny!!!!!
Oh gosh thank you girl you have given me such a good idea because I always go with the traditional candy basket type of things and I was like breaking my head what I'm going to give my foster kid to what I'm going to give my kids what I'm going to give my grandson thank you so much for this video
These are great! I should start making the baskets practical like yours. Your kids are so lucky to have you. Keep it up! 💕💕
Its a win win adding things they already need lol

The practical baskets are the best.👌
Glow in the dark football for ace
I love them all, good job Christy!
So cute...maybe a coloring book or activity book you could add to the baskets without planner/diary with some crayons or gel pens and bubbles
They are some very blessed kids! Those baskets are adorable, too! I use to love my Easter baskets as a child. So exciting!

Good ideas.. ive never seen a easter basket with only 1 piece of candy
I realized that😱 this will be the last year to get my 7year old little things(playdo&coloring kits) next year it will be harder😭
@@mamiedition Yes!!! It is so sad when you actually have a chance to stop and think about how quickly time goes by! When you deal with them everyday, it is hard to appreciate their age while they are in it😭
Love these ideas! I got my daughter that same swimsuit
I would add small gift cards to his favorite fast food. Something he can pick as a treat one day.
That’s a great idea!
Or gift card for his fav game !
Or buy the games currency. Idk what games he's into but like a battle pass, coins, or smth like that !
So cute we don’t do much for Easter but I love basket gifts so idk maybe I should do one for my kids we will see
I don't have have children but I have a lot of nieces and nephews. They loved coloring books or making their own jewelry, buy fake jewelry. A reading book might be nice for Ace. Or a cap/sunhat or sunglasses.
So cute and thoughtful 😍❤️
My kids love the goggles or snorkel!
I’ll definitely will be putting the muffins in my daughter this year.
I absolutely love these 😍
Everything is great u got, but wheres the chocolate candy?? I always do a summer theme w/ some practical useful things thrown n toothbrushes, hair ties n bows, inexpensive headphones, beach towels🤷🐰🐣
The baskets are cute but I still like to make my children's baskets still appear to be from the Easter bunny. You can still do practical items, but you just present it differently. Your voice is really pretty
Thanks for sharing 💜💙
They might like a book. Pool towel, rubic cube, toe rings for girls Orr lip gloss. Seems like a small stuffed bunny or duck would add some fun.
Definitely a hygiene kit for Ace. Maybe include a simple manicure kit if he doesn’t already have one. How about a book for each kid and/or their very own library card.
A new football for the boys basket? ☺️ love your videos
Thanks for the videos Christy.... Omg this is the last year for 5 Easter baskets ❤ 😍. What about adding like a nice body spray or cologne for Ace?
Where's the Easter egg's haha for their pack, I also get my grandchildren lots little things in their Easter packs, I've already started my Christmas shopping Lol
The swim suit looked like it was from “ Justice.” So cute
Walmart actually has some justice items
Love the Easter baskets
Basket idea, a chocolate cross or bunny.
You can add things for the pool like swimming goggles?
5 below has great items too
Yes!
Stuffed animal. Idc how old my kids are they’re getting a stuffed animal on Easter lol now that my kids are a little older I get them the Easter beanie babies so they’re kinda collectible and each year there’s a new one
I got my kids the $3 packs of water balloons from target. Something you could add if you wanted :)
I didn't realize you were expecting! Congratulations!!! Do you know what you're having yet, or are you keeping it a secret?
You can add a football for your 10 year old son if he doesn’t have one or if he wants new one
Long sleeve swim suits are pretty much the only way to go. Wish I had those as a kid. I would always get so burned
My son is 12 and I always get slide or crocs, hat, beef jerky, takis, bracelet/normally with a cross on it, a book or devotional for kids, a gaming mousepad if needed or gaming headphones.
This year I believe I am going to get a game for them for all of them.
Awesome baskets already, but here are some other item ideas: sunglasses, body spray, personalized beach/swim towel.
Love your videos!
Could I suggest a book, game, or toy to add in the baskets, it doesn’t have to be big just something practical
Thats a good idea for baskets
Loveee😍😍 longer videos please🥺
Here for the fam!
You could get Ace either a video game or a fun bag and a brand new football or gaming inspired water bottle
You could also get Ace a hygien kit
Hey Christy! How about a pair of shades for each kid! I'm making 13 baskets for my village of kids this year!
I shop at dollar tree for kids easter basket items.
Won't the older kids want their own room, how many bedrooms is your home, even that big loft room could also be a bedroom plus a study. Our flooring is also a very pale grey floating floors, it really opens up the house, yours also looks fabulous
For ace maybe a cool football phone case or a cheap Bluetooth speaker, maybe a phone stand
I just posted my video. I have 2 boys- one of them being 10. He is so hard to shop for because all he wants to do is game and I’m over it so I refuse to buy him any more gaming stuff! Lol 😂
Have you thought about a wallet for Ace?
Maybe a chocolate bunny. Cute baskets
Great places to hide it: (aka, where I’ve found mine in the past)
-oven
-cabinet
-behind a couch
-behind curtain(window)
-behind doors
-dog kennel
get ace some type of water ball. like a water football!!!
boy hygiene stuff for ace maybe boys shower gel & cologne
Great idea! I ordered him a new set of young king hair care products that we love.
I would just reccoment a football to fill in space for the first basket
please make a love story video with your husband
