Bakkhali is a fomous tourist destination near Mousuni Island and Sagar island at South 24 Pargana district in West Bengal in India. Bakkhali is 3 hours train journey from Sealdah station. There is also bus service from Dharmatala. Nearest railway station is Namkhana. We boarded the Sealdah Namkhana local train. In this video I have provided the time table of Sealdah Namkhana local trains. From Namkhana we reached Bakkhali. On the way I narated a brief history of Bakkhali There are more than 75 hotels at Bakkhali. We stayed at hotel Annpurna at Bakkhali. After lunch we visited Bakkhali sea beach. During high tide tourist enjoy bathing at the sea. I have given the high tide time at Bakkhali beach . In the evening we enjoyed tasty fried fish at Bakkhali sea beach.
What is the best time to visit Bakkhali?
You can go all over the year. Still October to March is the best time to visit Bakkhali.
HOW TO REACH
By Air: The nearest airport is at Netaji Subhash Chandra (NSC) Bose International Airport or Dum Dum.
By Train: The nearest rail station is at Namkhana. There are regular trains from Sealdah via Lakshmikantapur and Kakdwip to Namkhana. The first train starts at around 4AM
