I think you said what is often the factor that tips us over with injuries and that is stress. I hurt my back a few weeks out from London last November but I was driving up and down the country as I had a very sick relative and then rushing to fit everything in and the back just went. You need the right calm frame of mind to really be in tune with your body and it's very difficult to maintain that at any time but especially as you're approaching a big race. Wishing you a swift recovery and enjoy some down time for a while.🙂
Thank you. Your right, life is hard to balance especially when there's extra stress than you're used too, and that is part of life, and unfortunately something ends up giving. Rushing and stressing and then that compromises on other things.
Yeah I’m I am still praying for a superman recovery but doubt I will. Am gutted it’s not even an injury I got sick had chest infection and had some really rare complications I’m on steroids not trained for two weeks and it’s unlikely I’m going to make it but I still hope I am. I’m doing ladies doubles and my partner in crime I think is pleased we won’t be able to do 😂😂 she’s relieved but I am mortified.
Think that's the mindset, it's not over until it's over 😂. It is gutting though, well not for your partner, but for you. And it's just unlucky to get a complicated chest infection.
Sorry you are injured gutted for you. Can’t wait to see the footage and photos and wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thank you. We'll still get up a review of the venue and everything else.
