Real boxing fans know about Andy and the skill set he has. Holyfield sparred with Andy a about 10yrs ago and said that he didn’t know if he could have beat him when he was in his prime. So if Holyfield said that, I don’t think anybody can tell me anything less about him.Andy is a great boxer and a class act outside the ring, he’s definitely one of my favorite fighters!👍🏾
You clearly don't have a clue about the sport if you really think "this is how heavyweights should fight" this was nothing but a card filler nothing to gain nothing to lose fight.
@@BothSideStoriez I'm sorry to have to say, but YOU are the one with no clue. Boxing is in dire need of a fight of this caliber with guys who may not look the part, but are actual boxers. Instead we get boring boxing matches from British weightlifters with no boxing skills or American bird brain one punchers. Or even worse, UA-camrs!

A whole 12 rounds damn! The big guys went at it. Andy has unbelievable power and speed. Ortiz was starting to figure him out wore him out pretty good in the 12th. Great fight
totally. He has heart, quick hands and can take a punch. I thought he had lost lots of weight. Either the pictures were fake, or he piled it back on very quickly. I'd say he would beat anyone bar Fury(simply because of the height and reach) and Usyk
You say that but he has stamina for 12 rounds much better than Wilder for example. It obviously works for him and fat has only 1/3 the vascular system of muscles so he can move that mass with much less needed bloodflow and believe me Ortiz felt the weight. Ruiz is very good in using his bodyweight in the clinch and as a force he propells with his punches. Right now only Fury and Usyk are clear above him and Fury well has been a joke for a long time now. Imo Ruiz dispatches Wilder without problems, AJ he has shown that he can beat him and Usyk is retiring soon. Someone in the top 3 you cant really say that he does that much wrong.
Definitely 2 of the best technical boxers Andy Ruiz is massively underrated he’ll beat every boxer apart from from fury usyk AJ. Any other boxer he’ll beat
Andy Ruiz is fucking crazy man. So many ppl say his punch resilience is nuts, but I don't think that even scratches the surface with how good he can take a shot. When you have heavy guys punching especially heavyweight fighters all it takes is one clean shot, and I'm not being funny but Ruiz isn't a natural heavyweight. If he shifted that weight he would be a super middle going into light heavy possibly and yet he probably has the best chin in the heavyweight division. Class fighter.
I feel like Ruiz gets avoided by the “top heavyweights”. Great power puncher, great chin, better conditioning now. He was world champion and won it from the guy who was (at the time) destroying everyone). I guess he’s being overlooked because he’s not a big deal on social media. How sad?
Ortiz could not finish Ruiz right in front of him because Ortiz was not on PEDS like he use to be.After Wilder caught Ortiz taking for there fight,Ortiz could no longer take PEDS because of the testing Wilder brought up
Andy is surprisingly fast, as many opponents discovered and paid the price. And he hits shockingly stronger than anyone suspects. Anthony Joshua was shocked, and he lost like an amateur; everyone was looking for an excuse for Joshua... and his win over Andy proved that Joshua could dance away from Andy's reach- - - a good strategy but their score is still one win to each boxer... and Joshua has refused to fight him again, even though Andy has asked him in public to another fight to see who can win in two out of three fights... so who would have 2 wins out of 3 fights and why has Joshua avoided a third fight with Andy? Chicken feathers, perhaps?
The cardio of these two men is crazy. Great fight 👏

one throws punches, and the other is a master of the art of boxing...if you like boxing the choice is easy.
Hes like 50
@OnceTheyNamedMeiWasnthes way older than his official age. Lots of cubans do this when defecting.
Ortiz seems like such a calm humble guy. But turns on the beast mode inside the ring
He could have been a terror vs the British heavyweight stable although he did have a bout with Wilder it took year's now Wilder ducks Andy 😂

I'm baffled as to how both of these boxers have so much stamina for full 12 rounds after throwing so many power shots.. crazy!
And taking so many big hits!
Its called drugs
It's like an old Rocky Marciano fight, unrelenting and never ending power shots until the end.

50 something more like
