Foy Vance - Where Everybody Knows Your Name (Cheers) - With Added Instruments

When I first heard Foy Vance's take on this classic vintage TV theme, I knew I had to do something with it. I enlisted my good friend Martin Windstad, who recorded some percussion tracks, and I went to work myself adding bass, keys and vocals.
I hope you enjoy this pretty little tune. It's done from the heart.

The original acoustic performance was something that I had always given me the most indescribable feeling of peace and solitude, and what you guys have done here is just brilliant and masterful!!! I’ve just been listening to this on repeat! The bass playing is simple when it needs to be, and a little busy at just the right moments and is an incredible study of memorable melodic bass playing. Your harmony vocal in the choruses mixes atop Foy’s voice so perfectly, as the the 4 part backing harmony!! That sounded amazing! I loved the note choices on the keyboard and the percussion was, again, perfect for this performance!
I definitely am a new subscriber to your channel and I can’t wait to dig in!! AMAZING WORK HERE!!!!
