You touched upon the following in your video. It's important to point out something special about Countdown. There is a 99% chance of getting an exotic caches during Countdown. Allow me to summarize:
1. Play Countdown mode on challenging difficulty level only. Too high and the chances of completion are considerably lowered along with increasing time of completion. Too low and completion will not yield enough credits needed for the Countdown vendor station withing a 30 to 60 minute session.
2. One MUST actively participate in combat objectives.
3. Mission MUST be completed.
How is this possible? Completing Countdown yields anywhere from approximately 120 to 160 Countdown credits per match. An exotic cache can be purchased at the Countdown vendor for 224 credits. Actively completing Countdown on Challenging twice yields approximately 240 to 320 credits per completions. Each Countdown match is approximately 15 minutes longs. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Using this method, there is about a 99% chance of purchasing an exotic cach every 30 mins of gameplay or two caches per hour. There is no faster way to get exotic cashes with such frequency consistently at regular intervals. Additionally, one can set the targeted loot for SMGs during Countdown mode. The Chatter Box is the single most likely exotic drop in the game at 0.006% drop rate on Challenging difficulty according to my research.

amazing video especially for new players. the tips are very effective! very helpful. for darkzone you can get around 15 ish exo components / hr. the thing is you need to remember the route of each dz, and time. there are times for less populated dz. again. amazing video.

Hey there! So, confession time: I've been cruising through DV2 since day one, just like DV1 before it. But when it comes to diving deep into all those comps and gear intricacies, figuring out stats, re-rolls, and whatnot? That's a whole other level of effort. I'm more of a shoot-first-ask-questions-later player. You know, the type who's just out there shooting anything, tackling side missions, and if I stumble upon armor that looks spiffy or gives me a bit more oomph, you bet I'm strapping it on.
I mean, let's be real here. I'm basically the embodiment of that level 10 crook meme, slipping into some rando's gear and suddenly feeling like a mafia boss. It's all about that kill, kill, kill mindset in my book.
So, if you happen to have a video handy that breaks down all these nuances, you'd be doing me a huge favor. I could use a crash course in going from amateur to pro without losing my marbles.

Finally, you can also do level 30 restart runs. They take 10 minutes, and give you 1 exotic, about 100 receiver parts, and 200+ fabric. You dont gain xp this way, but if you're doing daily, weekly, descent, & dz runs, you can get 80+ exotic parts each week. If you concentrate you can break 120 exotics in 25 hours gameplay (includes countdown).
Level 30 restart runs?
Can you give more info on the restart, I've never tried it B4, Most important thing I'd like to know does you LV 40 stay the same thanks.

A level 30 restart run involves an unused character. I always use char4. I always delete char4 on completion. You start with that empty character, get to the whitehouse, talk to Manny, go downstairs and get a skill, get into the main menu system and boost the character to 30 (if you don't have it, buy it for $10, best value for time spent) then goto Maya and buy the shared materials option. Goto MAP menu (black Tusk invasion will show first, unavoidable) go to missions, look for SHD, note which is needed - water, food, or other, find the correct one on the map (lots of other major div2 videomakers have done specific videos showing where to go).
@@michaelrussell5627 do the restart on a different empty or unneeded character only. Don't use this process before you rerun Wony or you defeat the purpose of Wony reruns - resource stacking over 9999.

When you reset control points the loot boxes do not reset if you opened them nor does the yellow supply crate. If for example you take over a control point and you open all the crates, when you reset the control point and you go into your map you will see that it no longer says "Supplies available". Same goes for all the open world crates, faction caches etc, once you open them for the day that is it, they will reset when the daily reset occurs and the targeted loot changes etc.

Man I just finished warlords of new york and needed a farm for on level loot and holy hell 2 countdown matches gave me a shit ton of good loot. Plus 2 matches for essentially one exotic is really nice.

I have four exotic guns from killing bosses or group leaders with ARs. But the high value exotic weapons probably would need to be farmed in order to get them.

I hardly ever get exotic drops from open world control points or named bosses. Mainly i get max rolled gear and weapons.
I got 3 exotic main guns. 1 exotic handgun. 1 exotic mask. 1 exotic holster. 😊
better speedrun to floor 90 or ask if you can copy someone's floor that is a few floors before 90, then you will adopt this level after you clear a floor. Floor 90 is the only floor that has 3 named elites, with the last boss make sure to at least leave 1 npc alive, preferably a few, and also count well... counting to 3 seems easy enough but when you do this for a long time and your mind start to wonder off... or when you watch netflix on the side or something ..... Let's say I accidently cleared floor 90 more often than I'd like to admit.

I've never done the countdown so pardon me if this question sounds silly, but what do you mean by 'extract' at the end? Extract what? The loot?
Good question, sorry I forgot to elaborate on that part. Yes extract your loot at the end. You will also be getting bonus rewards that you can use to purchase exotic caches, optimization caches and more.
it's not the same as extracting from the DZ. You just need to get on the helicopter (after shooting the flare) to get the extraction bonus/credits, which also helps your teammates. Even if you do not extract you still get to keep all your loot and the credits you pick up from killing hunters. Once you extract go to the countdown table and spend your credits.
In like 2000+ Countdown runs on Heroic I have maybe had 2-3 bad runs with bad team mates. I have had some glitchy Countdown runs that needed to be restarted. Basically always run heroic IMO.
I have had a few failures at extraction
but those failures always still give me a bunch of loot.
Which pink color are you using, and what is the name of each clothing part?

Do you know of a way to farm in DZ without PVP? I have tried the method of starting in DZ, logging out, then back in to have an empty DZ but it hasn't worked for me. Any tips for solo farming in DZ without running into other players? Thank you.

Why floor 10 for summit? I hear a lot of people say floor ten but why not 20, 30, 40, and so on?
Good question! No particular reason, just a standard rule of thumb 👍
The higher levels are much better but for most who don't have the check point nor the patience to reach those levels, they may want to go right in at floor ten.

Great question! World tier will only effect the gear score of the drop. You will still get exotic drops on any tier. And if let's say you get an exotic st elmos engine to drop in a lower world tier, when you reach the end game world tier, you can always upgrade your exotic. I hope I answered your question! 🙂

dz crates are no longer a legit way to farm exo all the boxeds have already been opened by someone else no matter what time of the day you go in there. you will never find an empty server
