Rebecca i love your new video! Everything you were talking about made me smile :))) also thank you for showing your planning process it’s very inspiring!! I love that you seem to have found your style and play around with it, I’m still kind of running after trends but your approach is goals!!!❤
there is a book, Unravelling, by Penny Orenstein I think, that is all about knitting a sweater from sheep to the end, which might be intersting (maybe less so instructional or didactic), have a look ! :D
Hello from Minnesota! I totally subscribed to your channel, I can totally see the teacher in you! You have wonderful delivery when explaining things, which I really enjoy! Thank you for deciding to do UA-cam😊 Do you have any beginner jeans sewing patterns that you can recommend? thanks
hi! Thank you for suscribing! It means so much! and for your kind words! I really like the dawn jeans and think the instructions are incredible (but they aren't exactly beginner friendly. When I did my first pair of jeans, I went all in and bought the closet core jeans course (that includes their ginger jeans pattern) and she takes you step by step through how to sew jeans and all the techniques involved, as well as how to fit. It's pricey, but definitely worth it if you're interested in getting into jeans sewing!
@@fiber.and.floral Hello again! I just did it! I purchased the Ginger Jeans patterns they now come in mid-rise along with the class! Omg thanks so much for the inspiration, what Denim fabric did you use for your jeans? That I have not purchased yet lol
@@WoollyChats yay! I'm so excited for you! It depends on where you're located but you can find kits for the ginger jeans at Minerva that include the denim plus all the hardware (like a zipper, rivets, etc). but other small businesses in the US also might have them. But google "ginger jeans kit" and you should find something. And for denim, make sure it has enough stretch! Hope that helps!!!!
