Large Wildfire Kicks off Severe Thunderstorm! Incredibly Rare Event!

- On May 11th 2018 a large wildfire near the town of Goodnight, TX kicks off a large pyrocumulus cloud. This would help kicks off a severe thunderstorm that produce hail, high winds and lightning strikes that sparked other fires in the region.
The bush fires in Australia have created thunderstorms.
I remember that, at my house we had some fires nearby and we ended up having a masssivvvveee dry thunderstorm, much bigger than this. The sky was dark red.
Incredible video Adam! I've never seen this before
1:04 this looks like a large Tornado
That ground could need some rain.
That will be good, but bad at the same time because the winds in these storms can get up to 100 + mph
Wow, this is awesome! Luckily you managed to caught it on video!
A bunch of burning grass started a cloud that produced lightning and rain. Usually, pyrocumulonimbus clouds require vast amounts of burning foliage to form. This is amazing, and deserves more views
Considering that cumulonimbus clouds can form without fire, and pyrocumulonimbus clouds are simply those who's updrafts are attributed to a fire, even a small one could help trigger a thunderstorm.
I imagine there was already a fair amount of instability in the atmosphere that day and the fire despite not being large just enhanced it.
This is so cool, a cigarette can control the weather
Totally unbelievable to see..Thanks Adam for sharing
Now it's a pyrocumulonimbus
Loved seeing this, a great bit of camera work and editing. I’ve just experienced 2 of these, I know r/that happened. And the are apocalyptic, deadly and beautiful.
I thought it was clouds and this is smoke 😲
Nature surely is fascinating
So a wildfire can create a storm and then that can put it out?
The dry lightning from the storm actually caused other fires - one of which was the one at the end of the video
Also, the updraft where the warm air from the fire is rising is not where the rain is falling. The rain is falling in the downdraft portion of the storm, which is not over the fire.
@@AdamLucio well? is it also possoble for a Pyro hurricane ?
@@razorback1sf1 nope.
@@razorback1sf1 possibly in the future but there’s a very low chance but due to climate change we don’t know
Great hailstorm
I've seen it happen many times in new Mexico
Holy Smokes this is awesome.....
Wow nice video
That's very interesting.
By the way it’s pyrocumlonimbus
pyrocumulus supercell?
nvm…
كل شيء باذن الله سبحانه وتعالى
Just like a volcano.
Nice vid thanks
1:40 - You're welcome. :)
Should've made that the thumbnail
Acid rain
What would happen if I set multiple forest in alabama on fire during the very cold winter when we have nights below freezing???? Could I create pryomesocyclones💥🔥🧐🤓
Would have loved to see a rare fire tornado!
1:44 tornado or not
Ha, burn ban in effect. I guess nature didn't get the memo.
Indians understood how to create rain this way
A couple of CG's
?
Wow look at that tornado at 0:01
Just kidding!!
fun fact: that’s not a tornado
@@oish6684 I was just joking
@@thorin5591 i know, you edited after i replied. my bad.
How much rain with this storm?
Ben Small none. It’s dry. It causes more fires because of almost no moisture
@@Samsonschizovsky76 but there was hail falling down at the end of the vid.
@@lamargoat2406 well the hail was probably caused by large ash particles freezing in extreme upper level air
@@Samsonschizovsky76 probably, who knows?
@@Samsonschizovsky76 You’re wrong. Pyrocumulus can cause rain to fall, and this one did. If there is enough moisture, water vapor condenses into the pyrocumulus cloud and then falls as rain.
So you guys ever wondered if we could creat a thunderstorm by a man made wildfire. And study it so on so on.
i think thats a twister brah
fun fact: it wasn’t
One word. Government.
Three words: dumb conspiracy theorist.
3 words:
lol
shut
up
I think the government has better things to do than set bushfires so that it rains and hails LOL
Sounds like you are projecting
Of course one of your useless lots had to comment. Now you guys are going to claim that we were "brainwashed". Quite an easy way to get people to believe your nonsense, after all I could say the same thing for practically anything.
