@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide your site is SO excellent. Went down a major e scooter wormhole picking one this past weekend and your site and reviews were the deciding factor on my choice ❤️
Got the 2019 model of this last week for £349 British pounds Black Friday deal but it came with the silicon deck and the safety catch for the folding mechanism so it’s been facelifted since this review. Fantastic scooter for someone new to them like me, low maintenance portable and fast enough.
Don't need room for large feet if people stand like you do on a skateboard, which in my opinion is the correct way to stand in order to be able to have a better ability to see what's coming behind you.
David Vosk Uscooter Booster Gt Vs Unagi Model one, I’ll only be going 15mph. I have a few hills on my commute but at max I’ll be going 5 miles in a day and weight 100 kg.Which would be better, I’m seriously struggling on choosing. Unagi has better breaking but uscooter has suspension and shock absorbers and better build quality?
Definitely a place for this one in the market, especially after seeing the miles the owner put on his (photo from you Facebook post). Looks like it's got a nice top speed for an ultra portable scooter. Loght weight without a doubt... Definitely not my style but again I could easily see owning one of these if I needed a portable or ultraportable ride. Thanks again for the Trunk Test and the Drop Test, my passed the drop test this week, need an extension for my kickstand! Great review and great Live Chat (as usual)

Thanks for the great review! I live on a sailboat, anchored off Key West, and I've decided to get this scooter. I have to load/unload it into my dingy when going to and from my sloop, and I'll be charging it with Sedna's solar power.
Scooter shopping in Maine. I know of no merchants even selling scooters. Maybe a Walmart. There are so many models and brands on line shopping is the Wild West oart 2. Take your best shot and hoe like Hell you guessed right. I settled on a Hiboy S2 Pro with a 500W motor because my town is kinda hilly and my parents/sister live in the next town over or an 8 mile oneway trip. So it's stated 25 mile range might cover the 16 miles round trip. At 36 lbs it's not the lightest but it has 10 inch solid tires and some suspension. It was at time of purchase the best compromise I could find. Still don't know if i made the right choice as I keep finding other models. Still I do like the Hiboy just wish I had a fuller picture of what the market offers in total at time of purchase.
You did not mention what speed you were doing to reach your average mileage. Speed is not the only thing commuters look for, it's in depth range test. Please state this in description for us commuters who need to get to work at a longer distance. For example, dose the scooter have a medium speed mode which can increase the range to 22miles?
If you live in the city or an apt, the small portable size scooters are the only way to go. This looks like good bang for the buck. It must be made from the same molds as my Zoom Stryder; it looks so similar.
I hope in the succeeding videos there is a kph conversion as there are subscribers in many foreign countries follow u. Ita hard to always think of the conversion from mph or miles.
Have you tested the GT 2020 yet? That would be a fair comparison to the Unagi or any other sub 30lb scooter that costs < $1500. It has substantially higher performance and range too!
Hard to beat my Xiaomi M365 Pro with upgrades: hydraulic rear brakes, front 10-inch tire pneumatic in front, solid 8.5 inch tire behind, firmware to go 32+ kph, range of 40 kms for a total cost of $600.
My scooter weighs 90 lbs and I do carry it upstairs but it's worth it for me cause it's smokin' fast (and better range) and comfortable cushy ride over rough roads 😁
The doormen where I work would not be too pleased if I tried stuffing a 90 pound scooter into the elevator, but the e-twow is so small / inconspicuous, I have no trouble getting it into the building. I say - have one of each - fast and comfy and small / convenient.
Zero 9 is much better value for the price. The only cons I can see are the price (730€ AliExpress) and weight (19Kg). Check out Kugoo models. They are by far the most popular solution to Etwow ones. Build quality is not that high but for roughly 300€ it offers a lot for that low price.
Get a Zero 8 for the same price($800). Zero 8 has bigger deck, better range and braking, and better ,wider handlebar and nicer suspension and lights. It's heavier by 12 lbs. but still a better buy. IMHO.
This is a great question. One of ours has a flat spotted rear tire which is driving me nuts. There is no adjustment for the front suspension, but it's already pretty firm. A little grease on the hexagonal shaft would help the front work better. The rear is a bit soft, but you can't tighten the nut on the spring any further, to increase pre-load. It feels bottomed out already. You could potentially disassemble the spring and add a shim to increase preload, but depending on how much preload is already on the spring, it may be diffifcult to get the nut started on the shaft once a shim is added. Always be very careful when removing springs, as they can be dangerous, if there is still pre-load left in the spring, when you reach the end of the threads and the nut comes off. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide can prolly buy a diff shock that fits. If front shock is not adjustable thats nor good cuz when it shows age n wear u cant tune it. It will give a spongy ride eventually. Thanks for the overview. This seems a bit pricey for what it is. The guy on your live stream was touting how great and revolutionary it is however I don't see it. Where is the innovation here? I used to ride a Xooter (push) scooter around campus and the telescoping handle bar clamps are problematic. They fail either by slipping or the clamp cracks entirely. Traveling at speed this could be dangerous. (The engineer should design something better) Also at 25mph a disc brake is a must in my opinion. (I know it adds weight but safety right) Lastly, while it's nice the handlebars fold inward for portability they seem to short to be very stable when riding. Of course I am just speculating since I haven't test rode one but at 6'1" and can't image that to be comfortable. On the plus side they kept it light and portable I guess... Well, I have been watching reviews for months trying to find the ideal scooter for me and so far the Mercane Widewheel Pro fits most of what I am looking for. Keep the great reviews coming!
