Correction: I'm watching this THREE days before the exam.
It would be nice to get a 5, but I don't think I can do it because my ap biology teacher was gone for three months and plus I was stupid enough to start studying last minute.

So I go to a charter school and they give you hw every night soooo I’m toooo freakin busy to do crap. I don’t feel really good at all. We do practice with old exams but we get like week breaks and that when my teacher assigns them. Therefore, I am not good sorry I’m really freaking out.

Freshman year (last year) I took AP World History and AP Environmental Science. I received a 5 in both. This year I'm taking AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1, and AP Psychology. I haven't even started the school year and I got a 5 on the AP Biology and AP Psychology practice exams. I've been studying ;)

@@Hi-yl9iq Hey! So I'm feeling 'decent' about the exam so far. I just took a practice test on the Princeton Review book, and scored a 4. However, I'm not too sure if I'm scoring it properly, and I'm still trying to find out if the Princeton Review questions are accurate to the actual AP exam.
Namquez that’s great to hear? How many did u get wrong? I am predict ur score. I recommend asking ur teacher if she has any past exams because biology teachers are granted access to them.

Ap bio was insane.. lol I took ap bio with a teacher from Princeton at a college prep school for one semester.. for the first time in my life, I failed a test. Barely brought up my overall grade to a B.. after transferring out of that school to a normal school, taking regular bio, I aced all the tests and people came to me for questions. THAT’s how difficult ap bio was for me 😭

At my school, since freshmen take physics instead of biology, my AP bio class is 2 periods long (1 class is 55 mins.) and even with having more time for a class, I’m gonna need a LOT of bio help haha

I was just going through youtube and looking at ap chem videos when I found your channel! This video was super helpful about what to expect and everything. I am taking AP Chem online this year because my school does not have it and was thinking about AP Bio online my senior year-which ironically my school does not have. What are your tips for virtual students? (We self-study more so anything along those lines would be good. Also what prep books would you recommend? I know that you used five steps for a five, but you stated that it was not helpful.) Thank you!!!
I'm taking ap chem this year too! A big component of taking ap classes is self-study, whether you're taking it in school or online. Find the study methods that work for you in the long term. Write (and re-write) your notes in an easily accessible place for quick review later on. After you learn a chapter or a big over-arching concept, write a one page summary of the topic and an example of an application of it. This is great for solidifying the concept in your head but it's also awesome for later review.
The biggest downside to taking an ap science class in particular out of school would be the lack of ability to do the labs, but this can actually be easily solved (for the most part). If you're using a textbook, it's very likely that it comes with study tools, quizzes AND lab simulations, so you could always do those as a way to visualize the lab concept. The University of Utah also has some great interactive virtual labs via their genetics site. The bozeman channel I mentioned also has some lab demonstrations (I actually used those a few times to run a trial of a lab at home before class so that I could utilize class time more efficiently).
As for prep books, I've had good experiences with Barron's and The Princeton Review, they both come with a decent amount of practice tests and helpful supplements and summaries. But the best prep definitely comes straight from old ap tests posted on the college board site. If you want more multiple choice practice, there are always some on quizlet. Of course, I would always recommend explanatory videos before and/or after learning a new concept to just help further your understanding of the concept.

Watching a month(?) before the 2020 exam which, because of coronavirus, is online and is 45 minutes and is free response on chapters 1-6 only and they haven’t told us anything else and we’ll have fun lol

great video. I have a question for anyone who took the exam; is the content you learned in class on the exam? I ask this because in class right now we go over lipids and proteins and how protein has 4 structures like primary, secondary, tertiary, and quartary, and dehydration synthesis, and carbohydrates that are monosaccharides and polysaccharides that give and store energy and some give structure like cellulose in plants but on the test we take in class the questions that were asked, weren't the primary things that we have mainly went over in class. If anyone can reply that would be a great help for I am desperate for getting a 5: I study, review, watch videos, etc... but i get lost on these "Nipsey test"

Yall omg here in the uae the units of ap are divided to 4 years lmaooo at senior year we take ap bio and calc , we are supposed to do it at a curtain grade because our education ministry pays for us to enter the exam in other words in public schools and universities are free for locals+ap exams if you passed the mock exam

Piano Star Honestly, I think if someone has a solid understanding of general bio and statistics then they can pass the test because of how deeply the test is rooted in logic. So yeah, I think it’s possible!
