I remember making this set. I was so surprised when they were savory rather than sweet.

Moral of the story when I tried to make them: Do it in the morning when you aren't sleep deprived, pay attention to the video, always wait for the scissors to arrive before cutting with a knife, and tape can't solve anything

I brought this one before because I thought it was the candy one a few years ago, but it wasn't too bad. Didn't know the volts for my microwave though. The taste is savory and the mayo was interesting

Holly Shively I’ve made this one and I thought it was gross, but I’m not sure how “authentic” tasting it was... the real thing is probably better. 😂 But other kits taste pretty good.

I love takoyaki
Closest thing I ever had to real takoyaki was the Umaibou snack stick. I enjoyed it, but I didn't have the real thing to compare it to. I did find two places that actually serve takoyaki, however. Might just check those out when I get a chance.
Fantastic video 👍 Was it savoury or sweet? I've done the Poppin Cooking Sushi kit which was sweetened the Burger kit which was savoury. I love these kits! 😂
