its gorgeous! as someone who wants his entire base to be on the same grid alignment i would never come to the idea of making a perfect circle the way you did haha.
Omg I LOVE this base design so much ! Practical and super aesthetic and original, I love it and it'll definitely be a huge inspiration for my builds 🎉

but if you want this on ASA official, you need better (true pi) spacing, overlapping ceilings & do it from triangles, then this can even be done on a single pillar/foundation grid!

Someone finally cracked the enigma. i remember the old way on ASE to make perfect circles, but i was so sad because that way was no longer possible in ASA. Thanks for this beautiful and simple design. Time to break free of cubes and embrace the circle once again. lol.
I loved making coliseums and other round and oval objects, now its possible again.

@@mho... no, unfortunately. structure collision has to be off (edit reread you comment) **IS** Sounds very finicky but I'm glad there are workarounds
@@chimerakait if you offset "the second 12er" by abouuut 3/4 of a ceilings thickness, all ceilings overlap on official 🤓 you can use the 15° pillars height to archive that!
and if you create a height between these two, it will even all connect to eachother & be one grid!

It's so beautiful, I really like round base designs and this is my favourite so far. Definitly gonna steal it for my base 😉 I hope devs will fix gen range (or add cables) so base can be even bigger with some inside breeding space.. Again, great work Chasun_ 👌

A friend and I tried to recreate this and we found that we did everything exactly the same up until 2:41. But unfortunately from 2:45 onwards nothing fits with the rounding of the foundations, from then on we always have a small gap between the foundations (it's not as round as in your video). I also looked at another video of yours where you also do a rounding, but it doesn't turn out to be round either! But I have to say that it is also very fast, maybe a little slower would be nice.
I just had this very same problem, even made sure twice that the pillar was exactly were he put it 🫤

What did you do to be able to over ride snap points
you need this on Server -> bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true , Single Player Rules the 4. Point StruktureCollision should be turned on .... Greetz Den/Chasun
Very awesome build, but this does not work any longer on official servers.
A pity that it cannot be replicated in official pve, since it does not allow collisions between structures
