I guess the reason behind the decrease in mileage is because you must have forgotten to consider VVA. Post 7k rpm the mileage isn't that good within the city as well. Otherwise you could have got 40-45 kmpl atleast
Please check the air filter bro, cause sometimes engine won't breath properly incase of dirty air filter and it impacts the performance and milage. BTW love from Odisha.

I believe mileage can be achieved only at a constant speed between 50km to 60 km. On highway it is not possible to achieve that. Either you enjoy your ride or ride at the speed you are looking for mileage. Both not possible.
