Nalyssa Smith has the potential to be both an enforcer and a protector for Caitlin, which would be invaluable to the team. This role is crucial for the Fever's future success. Improving her defense could make her and Lexi the defensive backbone of the team.
I recall the play where Erica executed a behind-the-back drop pass to Caitlin, setting up the logo three-pointer made by Caitlin, followed by the ensuing roar of fans heard worldwide. That play was unbelievable. Wow!
The negative comments originate from the unsportsmanlike conduct of players such as Chennedy Carter, DiJonai Carrington, Angel Reese, Victoria Vivians, DeWanna Bonner, and Marina Mabrey. These are not good people and bad role models.
Picture Mabrey mocking Carington's action towards Caitlin by sarcastically requesting Carington to poke her in the eye during the sideline celebrations. Carington's behavior, which could have led to a severe eye injury, should not be condoned under any circumstances.
Picture Reese jubilant and celebrating in the sidelines after Carter shoved Caitlin to the ground that was not a basketball play while shouting a derogatory and vile word.
