This works for me. Shift + left click for strafe (force movement) & tap right mouse button (Hungering Arrow) every 2-3 seconds to maintain the Momentum stack. Only issue I have is getting Rain of Vengeance to activate without having to stop moving. Almost as if the 4 key on my keyboard doesn’t work half the time when playing (tried changing key binding but same thing). Thankfully this GoD build doesn’t need much more than Vengeance, Strafe & Hungering Arrow to get to GR125 easily.

I cant maintain the momentum stacks unless I stop and manually fire off a couple of hungering arrows, why is this? I have all the same gear and skills, what am I doing wrong?
I have been dealing with this as well not sure what the issue is. I have looked everywhere and cant figure it out. If you figure out anything please let me know.
nice video! really helpful quick question though.. how do you maintain your hot pursuit stack at 20? i occassionally have to stop my strafe to stack up.. but i don't see yours stoping, yet the stack is always at 15-20
Just press your button/key for Hungering Arrow every 2-3 seconds whilst strafing. That’s all (after spamming it 5 times at start of level)! Even whilst holding shift+left mouse for strafe, I tap right mouse every 2-3 seconds to keep momentum up. Only time I have to stop is if I run out of Hatred (rarely happens) & setting off Vengeance, then holding right mouse until Hatred is full again (4-5 seconds or so). Bit of a pain but no issues with Hatred or Momentum as long as enemies on screen to hit/kill to keep it filled.
If you manually cast hungering arrow then start strafing, does the 4 piece set bonus (auto cast your last used generator) keep up the focus /restraint damage bonus for you or do you have to manually cast it every 5 seconds?
So the max roll.gg guide shows a unity on the followers for some builds but then Focus/restraint equipped to the player. Does unity even use its affect when equipped in this way?
Im using this now... I use a Etheral Buriza that has the Fortress Ballista skill and then on Kanai, I have the actual buriza (pierce 2x more) and it just cleans mobs up so quickly. Better than Bequest because the 2x pierce also applies as an added effect on Hungering Arrow, not just Strafe.
@OP Thanks for another awesome video. I have one question: Can you explain to me why I need Vallas Bequest "strafe projectiles now pierce" when I have a pierce on my Ninths quiver? Since my strafe is shooting my hungering arrow and my quiver gives me that hungering arrow pierces up to 4 times, why am I using a whole slot in the cube or hoping for the ability? Am I missing something?
Pierce on the Cirri is for Hungering Arrow only. Using Vallas means both main attacks will pierce instead of just Hungering. With high Crit Chance, this can mean more damage/kills.

What I don't understand is the person playing in the video while your talking "The legend" does not follow the build your suggesting is the best nor the play style your suggesting as the best...
How do you deal with insufficient hatred when using other weapon than Yang's? I had maxxed out paragon points into resource cost reduction and I was running out of hatred (vengence set for damage reduction). I thought maybe some of the gear needs an extra resource cost reduction, but then even in your guide here you don't advocate for that. So how is wudijo keeping up his hatred at close to 100% on the video, without Yangs/Hatred generating Vengence?
Hey I saw he didn’t respond so maybe I can help out, without yangs you run out of hatred unless you are running gr close to or at the max gr you can run, if you kill things too quickly you run out of hatred fast, the longer it takes to kill something the better in the sense that you generate more hatred the longer you attack something, so if you’re clearing t16 instantly you will run out, but if you’re doing gr 100 and it takes a little bit longer you will have more hatred because your strafe will have more procs of your primary skill
@@fagburn3724 Appreciate the answer, makes sence now! I was mostly running speed content so stuff died quickly indeed :) So that makes Yang a requirement for speed content, and you can get away without it for tougher GRs.
If I were to roll a ethereal Buriza with Dawn as its power given, is there a reason I would want Balla's in the cube over the legendary version of Buriza that can give 2 additional piercings instead of Balla's 1? Wouldn't that be better?
Vallas specifically states "strafe" projectiles pierce, and is not limited to 1 or 2 it could piece 10 for example. When a strafe projectile hits a target it can trigger a hungering arrow. Hungering arrow is capped on the six piece bonus at 4 pierces. The legendary burizha could possibly trigger 2 additional HAs but, depending on the mob density vellas could trigger 6, 8 or more. Granted, you will def need to pay attention to your break points because of HAs 7 FPS refresh rate and try to stay right around 1.67 attacks per second to truly max vellas potential.
@@KupsoRyu gotcha, thanks for the explanation. So Valla's will essentially make piercing unlimited to the max piercing available while buriza will keep those piercings to 2 max, which isn't optimal.
So if I dont have the fortress ballista on my bow, how do I handle squirts? Do I just take the damage and get the damage multiplier in the brief moments that I dont take damage? Or am i missing something

@@doyouwant2cds nope for the life of me still can’t figure it out they are on PC so they might have the key bound for it
@@chriscole8945 On PC you can hold down right click (Strafe) and occasionally left click and it'll shoot out hungrying arrow.
You have to press shift while left clicking hungering arrow, just do that every few seconds.
I have a burrito cannon with 583% damage with hungering arrow is that better than the pierce option
@@MrMoroes exactly, glad I could help clear that up for you!
In T16 I like to use the bat companion to instantly recover some hatred when I'm running low.
On speed runs switch Seethe into Vengeance and your hatred is fine.
quick question what is the other ring for the scoundrell one is the occuus but you didnt talk about the other one thank you
If I were to roll a ethereal Buriza with Dawn as its power given, is there a reason I would want Balla's in the cube over the legendary version of Buriza that can give 2 additional piercings instead of Balla's 1? Wouldn't that be better?
yea thats what i was thinking as well im doing that exact combi
I do not undertand how the hatred does not decrease, can someone help me figure out how to do this?
is Rhykker related to Binging with Babish ??
not sure if its good or not but my Tempest rush monk hits Grift bosses for 200T
Is there a reason you used resistence gems instead of dex gems?
So if I dont have the fortress ballista on my bow, how do I handle squirts? Do I just take the damage and get the damage multiplier in the brief moments that I dont take damage? Or am i missing something
I got a Ballista with Legendary passive: Reduce 55% CDR on Vengeance. Is it good?
Holy shit! She is bayanetta!
How to do that non stop spinning attack? It almost the same as my build.
is speed (momentum) really necessary when using god?
hey, could you help me for your KEYBINDings? cant set exactly like you on prim and secondary?
I cannot understand why I do so much more damage with the classic Multishot Build than this build... I mean the mobs vanish away my screen... Same gear ethereal weapons. I struggle clearing 70 GR with this build and with multishot I clear 85s (500 Paragon) with ease.... Maybe I do something wrong.
it is the first time i clear GR145 (14.12) with god dh Dawn+Balista setup, very easy to play. I am planing to use valla , game not curs right, cause i pull all map for area dmg ? Season 27 my dh record was 135 season 28 is makes it +10 Gr
i have my basic GoD build but the 4set bonus doesn't work for me :(
i struggle with hatred with this build
So I play on switch and momentum only builds when I use hungering arrow without strafing.
Wouldn’t a perfect dawn plus 35% cdr bring u to 100% vengeance uptime? Also can someone explain the attack speed breakpoints thing? Like will lowering my attack speed give me more damage?
Check the max roll gg link in description and click mechanics, it goes into detail of why it’s best to have 165-166 atk spd
My GoD boots do not have the option to roll resist all. Did that change since PTR?
How are you not using much hatred at all I burn trough mine so quick I have all the same items on ......?
any1 else got the problem that hungering arrow wont cast itself wit the set bonus?
make sure you cast hungering arrow first at least once THEN strafe
