Beautiful sound!
Real sweet guys! Good job!
There's less to go, we're closer to seeing it work. I have followed you on this journey and we almost took flight. CONGRATULATIONS.
Greetings from Mexico.
Thank you! Please keep watching, more great videos coming
Great job apice 👏 lucas working very hard and always waiting for your next video , can wait to see the maiden.
Thank you Mario
Nice project Lucas!! Great to see you still active with building and flying turbine model airplanes.remember you flying at Floyd Bennett Field.good luck with this giant and ambitious project😊😊😊😊
🙏 thank you
Great job keep the vids coming!!!!
Thank you 🤗
Amazing
Will it still be an RAF aircraft ,I remember watching this model take shape on a programme called supermodels. It had four jet cats
All the best 😊😊
Yes, It original had 4 turbines , but now it will just have 2 turbines and it will become a USAF C17
Be careful with those UATs!! They happen to leak very easy. There are much better and less heavy once in the US. I would take some with 8mm tubing. (Carf also sells them) Cross my fingers for your first maiden. 👍😎
Thank you, we will keep a eye on the UATs - 👍
How hard would it be to put high bypass fans on those turbines?
We are looking into something like that- stay tuned👍
@@flightsystemsrc BTW... Did you see the C-17 that RamyRC just built? He used electric ducted fans on his.
@@MarkRenn yes, that’s an amazing aircraft
Very nice. Well done. Please send me an email about 2 RDT sensors for your AMT turbines. I am. Happy to offer these for your project.
Thank you, Ill email you 👍
when it was originally built did it have 4 jet turbines? i remember when the C17 was built it had 4 turbines
Turbine RPM increase at shut down is to lubricate the bearings - or so I was told by a turbine guy. 👍
Thank you Mike, makes sense to me👍
You a turbine expert always forgets the ear pro
That thing is going to need a big fuel tank.
I think it's close to 3 gal.
@@flightsystemsrc What's that, about 4 minutes all engines running at full power?
@@brodricj3023 perhaps a 7 min flight
Hope your neighbors don't mind the noise.
Why must there be OBNOXIOUS music when we want to hear the engine??
In this video there are at least 4 engine starts with just pure turbine sound. Have you no excitement for the love of music? 🤫
😃👍 🇨🇵
Thanks that you are not my neighbor 😁
LOL😁- I wish i had a neighbor like Lucas. - Thank you for watching!
No music during engine spool up and running pls !
There are so many engine spool ups in this video to satisfy you with no music. Thanks for watching!😬
Literally only one of the like 6 times they started amd spooled up...multiple single turbine, start and spooled and when they started both at same time none of which had music it was only the first one that had music and it was celebratory because they're proud of the project
@@Krash_fpv THANK YOU! you get it☺
Nice, but glad I am not your neighbour. NOISE.
I wish I had neighbors even 10% as interesting as these folks. Id rather hear this than the kid who bounces his basketball 1000 times a day off the ground and the backboard.
