Mystic knight was my first hybrid back then and I loved it. Magick archer of course was the one I finished on cause it was busted 😂.

Yeah, I ran assassin on my first dark arisen playthrough, then mystic knight. Definitely rushing mystic spear for my main on this one!
Hopefully you’ll be able to acquire it pretty early on like you can in DD1!

I hope we get to find out about more Vocations because the ones they have shown so far cant possibly be all there is. Considering the background of the Trickster Vocation that is pink and purple it shows it to be a hybrid which may implied there are 2 more base Vocations.
My bet is they won't reveal nearly all of them and you'll just have to find em in-game. Ideally, there will be some vocations that are missable if you don't go looking for them.
They're keeping the hybrid vocation logic from DD1, so ofc we're missing classes, like all of the hybrids with thief

@@TheSkyrider27 Yeah I've been spinning my head for long about it already. At first I thought it was simply a special class and for such, it had random colors, but then Warfarer came out with that greyed icon and made me doubt Trickster even more

Was not expecting uh, "men/ladies of the night" in this game. While I find it novel and usually only "partake" once whenever a game has them to sate my curiosity, I'm happy it's here. We've lately seen alot of watering down of such themes which makes little sense to me. If the game's rated Mature, then I want that game to cater to those of mature age. And if it's optional, I don't see the problem at all.
Anyways, definitely going Mystic Spearhand the second I'm able to. That looked amazing. Also hoping the demo let's us create a character that we can save and bring into the full product. Fingers crossed it'll be released this week or as you said, this upcoming weekend.
It seems like it's trying to give you the DnD experience. i've never played DnD but my friend does and yeah with the limited fast travel and the loss gauge making you take a short or long rest essentially it's definitely trying to be an action based dnd game.
Yeah, when they say "prostitute that you pay for" I'm expecting some softcore action but, I guess it's just some black screen "They did it" scene just like in the first game . Which is kinda disappointing for something you pay (in-game). But it's kinda expected for Capcom to do that since the first game u literally can romance and hv s** with child npcs that sure wasn't intended since how flawed the romance system works before Dark Arisen comes, but even after Dark Arisen, it's still possible to do that, just not accidentally.
Now they limit the minimum cc heights to 160cm but I still doubt it'll stop the Loli pawns wandering around your world to hire

If Capcom were to release footage of the arisen interacting with the sex workers, it would 100% guarantee a rise in sales. The bear fucking scene in BG3 is what literally sold me to purchasing it.

this game is gonna be a masterpiece. dragons dogma was such an underrated gem. the combat was so satisfying and i played with all the vocations. its just so much fun but nothing comes close to strider class. im so pumped up for this game.
idk if you liked the ensnare cable pull move but i loved it and i'm hyped to see it back in the thief vocation.
@@voltaicburst4279 ensnare ability was really fun but mostly I used skull splitter, 100 kisses and Instant reset. Instant reset was so op imo. Later I got 2 rings in BBI which made skull splitter and hundred kisses even more deadlier. It was a blast

it's crazy they've shown all these skills and most of them aren't even at max vocation rank so i'm hyped to see what we get this time around.
@@voltaicburst4279 yeah scarlet kisses is core skill now which we can upgrade it to 100 kisses and 1000 kisses. Skull splitter does prevent dying from fall, it's true and its so powerful. And even I'm so hyped for the game. It could as well be GOTY 😁
@@TheRealZoranto it's definitely going to be my game of the year, it was one of my favourite games as a kid and i just replayed it and it's still some of the best action ever.
the only worry i have is enemy variety?? it seems like it's the same goblin harpy saurian etc. mix from the first.
but then again, in dd1, the everfall opening up changed a lot so maybe this time it will be even bigger and introduce fully new monsters.
i want saurians to get their own underwater city tbh, they're really cool but i wish they were shown to be smarter or at least more organized.
It's reminesent of Greek Myth; not the movie that was very loosely based on Greek Myth - in which Perseus uses the Gorgon Medusa's head to turn the Kraken to stone, and save Athens. (I believe it was Athens anyway, it's been a while since I looked it up - Athens may have been Theseus, not Perseus, there's a lotta eus' - how's that for a movie quote?) as his reward, he claimed the princess Andromeda = forgetting he already had a wife; and Medea did NOT take that well at all. Perseus also only arguably succeeded where so many others failed because he was Zues' son. Given three specific gifts at least, to help him complete the quest, and guided the whole time in how to do so.
As long as there's a way to ditch the pawns, and they don't make me try to romance someone I don't want to by a ridiculous unseen "counter;" that conflicts with the one item that was meant to mark your chosen LI as your "Beloved," I'll probably still give this a shot. I'm not sold it'll actually be any better than their first attempt.

@@OSKGaming123Nah sorry, some people said so in Chat. They were japanese so maybe the english was not correct. I could also guess it's the delux-stuff that is "free" for those who are order the delux and that others can buy the upgrade or something.
a demo would also follow Monster Hunter's pattern that it's had since at least Generations Ultimate back in 2017 and. MH4U also had one in 2014 so a decade ago at least for that series.
it's unclear as to how in depth this using a gorgon's head as a tool thing will be, it may just be a set piece since some monsters in the first game you only fought once in the story and maybe again in post game. in the original game there were a lot of items, books scrolls or gems, that let you cast spells assigned to them a single time before they broke regardless of your vocation. a warrior could just pulls out a petrify stone, a book to summon a vortex that sucks in enemies for crowd control, or a scroll that makes rocks erupt from the ground for holy damage. these items copy a single spell form a magic vocation, that crowd control spell was from mystic knight. i do hope that a fair amount of skills/spells from vocations that may not be in the game come back in some form. there were 2 insane magic archer skills that required daggers to use, one was a sort of find blast of holy energy that could juggle multiple enemies to death and another involved lighting yourself on fire so you lost hp per second but did a high mix of magical and physical damage to anything yout touched. that second skills is match made in heaven for any green/blue vocation if we get it, since the point of the thief is to clime on enemies to do damage to hard to reach weak points for other melee vocations. as for that holy wind spell, i don't care, i just want it back.

You can, but you'll lose half of your abilities which are tied to your shield. You'd be better off playing Warrior with a 2 handed sword if you prefer the shieldless-sword route.

Um, ok. so I need more vocations (especially a summoner or necro would be nice), don't care about getting down in Dragon's Dogma 2. They can't do a better job than the Nexus modders tend to at that stuff so just leave it to them and let it be optional if players want to add that stuff to their game through mods. Keeps your game clean and the ESRB low, and the horny folk just got to Nexus or other mod site to grab that stuff for the game. The only thing you can't find on Nexus are mods that don't support certain sides of the fence politically.

We saw just 3 time the menu and there a just head, torso and feet mark, so it mean that we are getting torso and hands, legs and feet fused, also no sub for lingerie?

I'm new to the franchise, can someone tell me if the game is rich in story? Similar to witcher or other RPGS.
There are definitely heavy story elements, but we don't know enough to say if it's as good as The Witcher 3 is at storytelling

Welp, I can't say I'm happy about the inclusion of sex in the game. I've avoided The Witcher, Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age and never gave FF XVI a chance for those specific reasons. Probably the one thing I appreciated the most out of the latest GOW games, is that they removed the smut but kept violence and profanity (profanity gets a pass). Idgaf who says otherwise, we are in the age of peak degeneracy, hyper sexualization and smut covered content, I just want some things I can enjoy without needing it to explore those themes. Thanks goodness for Itsuno at least keeping it optional, above the belt and fades to black. I ain't going anywhere near that silly shit. This is why Doom 2016/Eternal are the greatest games in human history. PEAK VIOLENCE, yet no cussing and no smut, my kids can play it without being influenced by sex and profanity.

Strongly disagree, if your game is rated M, and has such elements, you don't hold back and half ass it. It's the expression on the creator and their vision. Balders Gate 3 was amazing, the sex scenes weren't far enough to be honest. Nothing happens, the nudity was good though. You expose your insecurities with nudity which is a natural thing lol. While DD2 doesn't need sex scenes, having breasts with no nipples makes no sense. Nudity is fine. Kinda breaks immersion, lets build an RPG fantasy world but oh, we don't do sex in this world...like what nonsense is that. You can also simply NOT partake in that part if you don't want to lol.

Both DD1's intimate scenes, if you could call it that, barley showed the arisen kissing his/her beloved or Aelinore, both were just implied and thankfully it looks to remain at least similar. If DD1's tonality was like the Witcher from the start, I'd give it the same treatment, same goes for FF XVI. But thank Itsuno-sama for keeping it optional, above the belt and implied. All I really hope for is a refined version of the first game, nothing more. I.E. all the content cut from the first game.

I really hope there will not be any sex scene. Since the arisen could had been a kid , or his/her romantic partner . There was even a npc that would fall in love only if the arisen were a woman or a boy with feminine traits , and needed to be dressed as female .

You have no understanding what ESRB categories mean and stubbornly refuse to listen to corrections. Fake news. For those who are reading, DD2 got mild categories (no mention of even partial nudity), meaning there will be no spicy armor sets or explicit imagery beyond being implied.
