I am rooting for Iga but in the current condition Saba is the favourite to win the trophy. This clay is too fast for Iga and Saba is playing fantastic tennis right now.
I am NOT a fan of Iga but I respect her ability and fortitude. She has been beat but she always comes back. A sign of a champion. No one goes totally undefeated in WTA and no one ever will. I still hope Elena Rybakina will dethrone her. Elena has already beaten her a few times Elena just seems to lose too often. She needs a better coach.
Very good observation, I have said it so many times in the threads: she needs a coaching staff, she has all the money to have it. She plays better when Vukov sits silent. It’s tough call for her and I doubt she will do the changes, as she would hurt her boyfriend….
Definitely Elena or Aryna deserves to win. They both are extremely exhausted. And also now Iga gets a day more rest. Also they got tough draw and Iga got a walkover like draw. If Aryna is anywhere near fresh legs, Iga gets smoked. 😂
