so today i went to dapa siargao and its my first floody experience will to be honest i thought only angeles city will flood but eventually its also here is dapa however its not surprising at all i think its place will had flood the only thing i can't believe today is what the bank told me i went there today to do some thing and get our new card however there words shock me this js the first time i heard this kind of thing at the end of the day its just misunderstanding by then enjoy the video everyone

I get concerned about people walking around the water from a flood . Walking through sewage backed up from bathrooms and drains …. If any there . I assume there is for the businesses . I’d be worried about toxins in the water making you sick .

I've been to the Philippines multiple times. My age appropriate wife is from Cebu. Eating: most filipinos eat (and eat,and eat,and eat) and don't gain weight. Caloric content of the native foods is why. When my wife came to Texas, she did what she did in Cebu: constantly eat. 30 pound weight gain later she modified her eating habits to match the higher caloric content of western foods. She ate healthy meals btw. It's just that western healthy foods are both more nutritious and much.much higher in calories:which provide energy.
The banana blossoms look very interesting. I've never heard of it.

@tom - the banana blossoms are found at the tip of the bunch of banana fruits. You have to remove the blossom part so that the fruits will grow and develop.
For the blossoms, the red outer part is removed. The thing is cut in half (lengthwise), then sliced. It can be boiled, sautéed, added to sinigang (soup w/ tamarind) or cooked with coconut milk (w/ a lil pork or chicken).

@@tomsheridan989 you're welcome. It doesn't really have a taste, unless you season it. We eat it as a vegetable, for the fiber. However, if you have your own banana tree (or trees), then it's a good, cheap source of vegetables (and fruits too).

Do your animals get shots for rabies? Do the officials of the Philippines really put poison out for cats and dogs to control the stray animal population? Is there any animal control services there?
