      I get that you're enthusiastic about the vaccines, and I also think that most people - especially those in high risk groups - are well advised to take them, but we need to be embracing *ALL* life-saving treatments, and going around insulting people like you're doing here is *completely counterproductive!*

    Great video, but I'll push back on one point when you explained why it took so long for these to be used. Politics! When the Gov of Florida finally said heck with that and started setting up antibody centers all over the State and when they worked, it couldn't be denied, then all of a sudden we start hearing about this treatment more.
    With that said, it seems to be a good treatment and I hope more States start setting up these centers.

    • @mcgragor1
      @mcgragor1 3 роки тому +22

      @ Not even close. The Florida Gov is the one pushing them and now after their great success, you're hearing more talk of them being used.
      As far as "stupid", its a shame you think blindly taking an untested vaccine that has clearly not lived up to its claims, while at the same time having a very high incident rate of complications-even deaths is smart? Maybe for the 80 year old, but what about the 25 year old with Myocarditis because of the vax, who if unvaxed, probably had about a .05 chance of death if even that.

    Thank You Dr. Risinger. These have been talked about for quite sometime now. Regarding your vaccine comment. I know four friends of mine who were all vaccinated and all four caught covid and were pretty ill. My neighbor caught covid and he's not vaccinated and he sailed right through it. The age groups of all the aforementioned individuals were about the same none of them had any comorbidities. I have found from my own research that the pharmaceutical industry doesn't behave ethically. This is why I am not getting vaccinated. They have paid out billions in lawsuits and they have billions at their disposal to lobby politicians and even influence the education of doctors by investing in med schools. Harvard is currently a huge recipient of Big Pharma money. Students there actually protested. The censorship of UA-cam posts about life saving drugs such as yours and others also makes me very suspicious. What if the public health message was loose weight, eat right, exercise and take vitamine D to have a better outcome if you get covid? This would be disastrous to Big Pharma profits.. What would they do if we all got healthy? I think they know it which explains the censorship and the weaponizing of public opinion. I heard Biden say "We need to protect the vaccinated" That makes no sense at all. It does make sense if you want to demonize those of us that don't trust Big Pharma. I wonder where he gets his campaign contributions from? What's going on is abhorrent. This is about profits not about the public safety.

    • @mirandamcdavid6038

      @@proudofwhoiamofmycolor4688 I am as white as they come and if I get Covid- the first thing I would do would be to run as fast as I could to try and get this treatment. My sister was recovering from open heart surgery up in the Cleveland Clinic when while at home trying to recover, she contracted Covid unvaccinated. So I thought for sure she was a goner. But she got in and got the monoclonal antibodies and she got better. I have other friends (white friends) who have taken it and said it saves their lives. Color of skin does not matter. It will save your life if you get Covid and can get these monoclonal antibodies within the first 5 days of onset. I personally think this is the treatment for Covid and it is a crime they have not made this available like water in every clinic, hospital, and doctors office.
      If we made testing available in every school and work place in the nation and required people to get tested at the beginning of their work week - and then if positive - send them straight to a monoclonal antibody treatment center and then to stay home for a week, we could knock this thing out!
      Little pre-school and elementary kids could get tested by spitting in a cup once a week at the beginning of their week. If they tested positive - they would need to return home for 10 to 14 days.
      All 12 year olds and and older could take a q tip (or have a trained nurse do it) and clean their nose holes out (just like many folks do their ears each week after they get out of the shower). Again, the 12 year olds and older would do this q-too Covid antigen test at the beginning of their work or school week and then they would not be cleared to go to class or to work until their Covid Antigen test (15 min results) said they tested negative. Once negative - they would be cleared to go to school or work.
      Nurses and lab personnel could be hired and put to work in each of these schools and places of business and that would be a plus too because that would even create new jobs across the nation. Maybe they should be government jobs. If we did this weekly Covid Antigen testing everywhere in all the schools and places of employment at the beginning of each week - once a week - and then had readily available Monoclonal antibodies and lots of Monoclonal Antibodies treatment centers - as well as doctors willing to prescribe ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, dexamethazine, doxycycline, colchicine, presnizone,
      z-packs or Fluvoxamine or whatever else medications we all know we already SHOULD have access to with a doctor’s prescription, then that - as well as some education on the importance of Vitamins… (all of course under WILLING doctor’s care and prescription )… then we could beat this thing. I understand your untrusting of our government and these bad characters at the top pushing this poison in the vaccines. Especially as a black person - seeing how one of the guys at the top has already done a ton of damage to the black community in the past. But this monoclonal antibody thing - I do think you should trust it. I do anyhow. If I get sick with this stuff, I will throw everything and the kitchen sink at it.

    I am fully vax. 2nd dose in Jan 2021. I had a lab test quantitative in Sep 2021 for antibodies and I was still above max (for that lab nl range) then mid Oct 2021 got COVID. I tested myself within the hrs of first day of onset of symptoms. I received the infussion of Reng-cov before the 72hrs of sympt onset. 24 hrs after my fever, and sinus symptoms had let go. I experienced strong sinusitis with annoying sneezing, obsene runny nose to make my mucosa almost raw in 48 hrs, headache, pain behind my eyes, frequent soft stools. Fever that creepled from the 99.0 up to 101.7f by the night of the 48 hrs after onset of symptoms. By the morning i got the infussion, I started to notice getting winded and mildly short of breath with a touch of some possible chest bronchial noise. I knew it was progressing, quite fast and i would say insidiously. It is my personalexperience and opinion that this monoclonal antibody RENG-COV halted the advance of COVID infection. I have a long hx of congenital heart disease.

    So this is a few weeks old. Due to the D variant, REGEN and Lilly mAbs are available. The REGEN is still the only one used for subQ. I am the co-manager for allocations to my state and we are focusing on treatment rather than PEP due to capacity and allocations. This has made a significant difference in reducing hospitalizations, which is at capacity in this state. I have never heard latino or black race as defined as a "high-risk" for mAbs consideration. Maybe that is the case in other regions of the country. Also, if have had covid for over 10 days and are experiencing worse symptoms, go ask your doctor. The HHS ASPR's guidance on the timing also considers a doctor's opinion for individual patients. I know of a few doctors that will prescribe outside the official guidance with good results.

    A small percentage of people have had serious reactions to the vaccines, but that does not mean the risk is low. The risk of bad reactions to the vaccines depends on each person’s immune system.
    There are not any tests to identify the people who will have bad reactions to the vaccines.

      I'm tired of the "my silver bullet is better than your silver bullet" games. Adults best first choice is the vaccine unless a health condition precludes. If you refuse the vax, consider the prophylactic FLCCC protocol. Unvaxed and infected, the MAB's discussed by Christy have the highest effectiveness during the viral stage. If you advance into the inflammatory stage, fluvoxamine and dexamethasone are the best options. Thankfully natural immunity appears to have the most sustaining protection. If this goes endemic, we may all need to learn the best treatments for the two stages of disease. By the way, enough with the exaggerated risk for children who have drowning rates twice that of COVID deaths. Male teens should avoid mRNA vaxes.

It's not to say these meds don't hold their place . But I was treated with Remdesivir , and then Acterma . I was 16 days in the hospital and while there lost my ability to walk shower on my own , get dressed on my own and even use the bathroom on my own .I was one step from being ventilated as well . It was the most scariest an intense time of my life . I never in my life was so close to death . The way I couldn't breathe scared the soul out of me almost. I also was treated with Dexamethasone which helped immensely. But if you look at the actual studies and I'm talking clinical data . These drugs have far passed ivermectin in studies . I am not very knowledgeable on Hydroxycholoroquine studies but am well aware of ivermectin studies and ivermectin has not seen the success in any clinical trial that the drugs I've mentioned I was treated with have seen . Ivermectin has even shown in a published study where paitents became worse after 14 days of use . This does not mean ivermectin made them worse this just means the efficacy that's touted of ivermectin is not there like most doctors are saying . And these doctor's usually tend to be UA-cam doctors who claim they have anecdotal evidence but have not published any clinical studies . Their claims are always they cannot be funded . I say this ... Back off some of their luxuries if their paitents are that important to them and their anecdotal evidence is that important to them and use their own money to publish the data they claim to have . In science we never go by word we go by proof . When a meta analysis was done on ivermectin the results were poor compared to any of the drugs I mentioned above and in science that's how it goes . If a drug comes out and let's say 10,000 people see success and 1,000 die and then you have another medication where 10,000 see success but 5,000 die you have to go with the one where 1,000 die . Medicine is never perfect and never will be . Millions can take Tylenol and sail one can take it and die this will always be medicine until the end of time .

One standard of deviation being between 33 and 55 as the number needed to treat. The number needed to treat for post exposure prophylaxis is 200. That's if the clinical endpoint is an ER visit or hospitalization. This endpoint is not clinical illness, symptomatic unless, death, etc.
    The absolute risk reduction, not the relative risk reduction is what will more accurately describe the effectiveness, or lack thereof.

      They are free in FL, if you are resident. One Monoclonal clinic is half mile from my home. 60,000 Floridians got the treatment in last couple of weeks since our governor ordered openings through the state, all 60,000 recovered in a few days . Love our governor DeSantis.

    I find it interesting that if your BMI is under 25, this treatment is not recommended. As a 72 year old male, I am not eligible? Other than age I have no co-morbidities. Is there some place where I can get information on my real risk? I get plenty of anecdotal stories how most of the people dying are overweight, diabetic, or suffering for COVID based anxiety.

    Given in Infusion Center in Maryland. Not ER or In Patient / In Hospital? I had a family member just infected with J&J vaccine and breakthrough COVID. I waited too long, asked his doctor for Monoclonal Antibodies, seemed to take too long to get to infusion center, I was told by the ER over the phone that they could give in the hospoital, he waited 7 hours to get into ER and was told that he would need to wait another 5 hours, went home that evening and was admitted to ER next morning, never received monocolonal anitbodies, and then we get a different answer from the hosipital, they tell us out patient only, he has 50% less capacity of 1 lung

    Do you have studies on Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine early treatment use?

    • @HDKExpert
      @HDKExpert 3 роки тому +1

      Most of the HCQ studies were muffled and intentionally designed for HCQ to fail. Cheap, safe and effective. I prescribe it. You’ll occasionally read reviews from experts criticizing these poorly designed trials like the RECOVERY trial that went really far by giving poisonous doses of HCQ. here are some links nevertheless:

    I received the Regen-Cov a few weeks ago, it made me feel better after 2 days!!! No side-effects - it’s been 3 weeks since I got it.(mine was done in the hospital)
    Also why if you’re Hispanic or Latino are you at higher risk? I found that surprising when you said it. Thanks ☺️

      @@joycebutler877, if you get covid, make sure you get the monoclonal antibodies. I’m 68 and on3rd day of covid (one month ago) I got the antibodies and started feeling better in about 6 hours. The next day, I knew I was getting better. My husband, who is 70 thought he was going to have an easy case, so didn’t get the antibodies, and he got very sick on the 8th day. At that point, he said he felt too sick to go get the antibodies and he just kept getting sicker. He almost died. The antibodies definitely helped me tremendously! I know lots of people that they helped. Neither of us got the vaccine and we would never get it. The only reason you hardly ever hear of the monoclonal antibodies is because they work and the liberals don’t want that out because then many people would not take the experimental vaccine. In Florida, we are very lucky to have such a great Governor, he has opened FREE clinic for everyone that has covid, to go get the antibodies. Governor DeSantis has made it very easy to get this treatment, without a doctors prescription. The free clinics are all over our state. Their is no reason any hospital is overcrowded with emergency room patients. They should be giving everyone this treatment that comes within the first 10 days. Then they could send them home to get well!

    We got the Regen-Cov antibodies this week, and I found out today that if we have Omicron it will not help, they did not tell us which variant we have. My mom is 81 I am praying this works. Do you know Dr. if this will benefit us at all if we have Omicron? About how long before we would show improvement if this helps?
