You are so talented I love everything you do I'm even starting on another blanket but I can't get past the sleeves of the white set I can get dinner 88 petals from 9 pedals I do everything you do and yet I care get it I've taken out the sleeve so many times
Dalia Pastor for sleeves how many dc for 6 row.. you need 27 dc... next 1st round for sleeves 9 pedals...it’s coming 3 by 3 then 9 (27/3=9).. start with corner 1st dc top .. 3ch with 3dc , this the 1st dc into 3 dc ( skip 1 dc into next dc, that’s the 3 dc ) thanks.. still you can’t please tell me 💝

Love it the blanket is perfect. I am making the cardigan and I only wish you would sketch measurements, I would like to know the neck circumference as that I think is the bases for a good fit. Some beginners would get lost after the first row of crotchet as there is a lot of adding and counting. But all worth the trouble it is a beautiful work of art. Thank you for your good tutorial.

Hi-I have tried doing this three times and I am still getting the wrong count. I have chained 42 as stated but I am only left with 3 chains at the end instead of 6.

Why when I do this it turns out beautiful until I get to the second sleeve, then it comes out backward with the pattern seeming to be inside out? I did the whole sweater but the last sleeve I couldn’t get the pattern to match the other side?

Hi I'm working on the sleeves and on the 1st row you say 9 and I have 9. On the 2nd row you count 8 but I still have one more for nine idk what to do, please help
I got it! You don't count the double crochet in the beginning of the second row. It's not a full petal it's just 2 double crochets.

I’m guessing this instructional video is inactive given current responses aren’t given. I’ve been working on the two pattern cardigan now for two days and I still can’t get the sleeves right. I’m also guessing that the sleeves have to be connected at the underseam in order to finish it. My problem is that when I finish a row I’m not sure where to put that SC beforeI CH3 and I’m not experienced enough to figure this one out...also, after the first row of 8 petals, do you go back to 9 petals and alternate with each row or do the remainder of the rows have 8 petals? I sincerely hope someone can help me with answers. I’d hate to have wasted 2 days on a small project that should have only taken a few hours.

Working on the sleeve now and something is completely off with these instructions! In the first row you end with 9 petals, but when she finishes with the 2nd row she says a couple of times that you end the 2nd row with 8 petals...what does one do with that 9th petal? Also, following these instructions, how do we connect the underside of the sleeve given the work is in reverse direction with each row. I’m really disappointed in this set of instruction and ready to give up.

I’ve read through several posts and it appears that the majority of the posts she’s responding to are to thank those who love her creations and not answering the questions. I do love her work and just finished another blanket, hat and cardigan layette, but this video was confusing with the switching back and forth of the male and female cardigans and starting row 11. Can anyone confirm that row 11 returns to the 2 DC and if so, which of the 3 FP do we SC around? (I’m basically a beginner and apologize if this is a silly question, but it’s not obvious to me.) Thank you for any help anyone can give.

I can see how you would be confused - probably because you didn't make the matching blanket??? The blanket pattern is always with 3 DC, start to finish. However, don't forget, the circumference of the yoke would not accommodate baby's stomach and diapher - it's too narrow. So, she starts from the yoke with the row of 1 DC, next row, 2 DC, third and all proceeding rows are 3 DC, which is how the whole blanket is made. That's why she says you know this pattern now, which assumes you've already made the blanket. In those 3 rows, you've widened the circumference of the sweater into a flair so it fits over baby's midsection.. I hope this helps.

It is a beautiful pattern, and many times, I was confused and had to go back and forth over a few comments but when I'd watch and listen a bit later, she would count it out appropriately. I had to redo my work several times at the beginning when I heard her say 24 DCs for the back instead of 20 as an example. The first time switching to the boy for the edging was confusing for me because it stopped abruptly for the girl pattern and to continue, I had to scroll but it seemed to go back and forth so you have to watch the whole thing, basically. It's okay since it's a help to get these on video, but I do wish it was clearly laid out. . Did you get your question answered? I'm not there quite yet, so I'd like to know if there is something that might help me before I start that section. Thanks.

I don’t understand the first 2 rows. If you only have 42 chains then skip the first 3 on the second row, how can you then DC 6, turn, DC 10, turn, DC 12, turn, DC 10, turn and finally DC 6? There are not enough chains to achieve this.
