Great location! Taylor Mt. Is in my backyard. I'm planning on making this my first SOTA activation. I'll tackle Mt. Staint Helena for my secone one! Tons of little SOTA peaks all around Sonoma County.
I agree that it looks like a great SOTA summit. How much does that amp weigh? I am looking to add an amp for SOTA activations and I don't see the weight listed on the HobbyPCB page. Thanks!
Can I make a request, as I enjoy watching your SOTA videos. Can you make a video on the process you take (choosing which mountain to climb, do you publish on sotawatch.org your freq & time you'll be on the air, what do you take with you in your pack, what type of bag do you take, etc...). Keep making the videos!!!
Nice location, Rockwell. Nice to see that the amp is working well. With some of those signal reports, looks like you couldn't worked them QRP too.
