Kathleen Turner is a wonderful actress IMHO. In her life she has a cross to bear as she has Rheumatoid arthritis. It is an awful disease that knows no mercy, I know because I have it . Many medications are just awful and are dangerous themselves. I am on monthly infusions . Kathleen is probably on steroids as I was. One gains at least 25 pounds. I gained 35. We are often criticized for our not so slender figure ! I had to discontinue steroids because I am also cursed with Osteo-Arthritis . Many of my joints are already replaced with titanium. I hope that Kathleen is doing well . I do not want to whine and have a pity party, I just want to make people aware , that weight gain is many times unavoidable ! You all be well and safe out there ! Sons of your claims are either wrong or greatly exaggerated. If Kathleen disagrees about something that doesn’t automatically make her difficult. Kathleen and Michael D are and always have been great friends who deeply respect each other. She never had a wholesome image. Another exaggeration. Burt Reynolds was a complete dick to Kathleen.
She has Rheumatoid Arthritis. Before there was Enbrel or Humira she had to take steroid shots. I remember her saying she was so swollen she could not put on her shoes. I have a similar disease Psoriatic Arthritis. It is no joke not fun. I am on Humira. I still have the worst form of Psoriatic Arthritis and 2 other forms of arthritis as well. These medications do not fix everything. It is a daily struggle.
