- Welcome back guys! Here’s a fun review I made of the first SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee! I’ve also driven the 6.4 and Trackhawk, and it’s a fun reminder to see where it all started!

Always great reviews!!
That’s for watching this one, it was a lot of fun to make lol! 😎
The start of srt8 love the 6.1L hemi I don't have the jeep but the 300c model 6.1L hemi fantastic engine really deserves cridet
You get to have all the fun 😎👍 I had a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer SS with a LS2 Corvette engine. I was going to supercharge it but things fell apart and I had to sell it. It was 42k MSRP too, but I got a great deal because a friend of mine owned a Chevy dealership. One of the best vehicles I ever owned. AWD, leather interior, navigation (big deal back then). This Jeep review brought back a lot of memories. 😃👍
Yeah, this one was definitely a lot of fun! Oh wow, that’s really cool! I’ve never driven a TBSS but have always thought those and the similar year Silverado SS were pretty neat! I’m glad it brought back some memories. 😀
Did you ls3 swap? I thought those had the ls2
@@slickfn5594 You're right, thanks for pointing that out. It was LS2.I stand corrected.
cool rig!! thanks for the video
Yeah, these are pretty sweet! Thanks for watching. 😉
The cup holders in the back seat pills out from the bottom middle
This 6.1 Hemi has to be underrated. A stock 2018 SRT Jeep runs about the same, but has 70 (reported) HP more. The 18' also has a Slick 8 speed...
Yeah, for sure! These 6.1 are stout! I just posted a 6.4 Jeep wrangler, very sketchy, but very fun lol. 😂
@ 0:40 you went all out Joe Biden for a few seconds there :)) Just kidding, great video and a really nice piece of early days SUV muscle!
Lol. Yeah, this was a fun one! 😎
First🎉
Congratulations! 🎈 😛
Is 126k miles a lot to these SRTs? I’m looking at an 07 for $15,500
I’m not sure, I would check out the forums and ask that question on what to look out for. I would imagine the engine is likely good if maintained. But I don’t know how the transmissions and all accessories off the engine hold up. Best of luck! 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 appreciate the response 🤙🏾
that's cheap, I am from the Chicago area. Srt8 wk1's with 150-180k miles range 17-20k
It’s standard for streeet sells but you can find some for 8-10k easily also
Who ever owned that clearly doesn't have any issues w continuity. Chrome delete....on one side only...bit sure whats going on w the headlight. Like nails on a chalkboard! 🙀
Lol. Yeah, I’m sure with its age and condition it’s likely had a few owners, but I didn’t look into its carfax or history.
I'm an owner of an 07 btw...as a daily. Nice review
That’s sweet! As a daily are you keeping it relatively stock or what’s your long term plan for it? 😎
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 stock ish for now, the power is fine for a while. I'm working from the bottom up. Suspension and drive line first, chrome delete(when it warms up) wheel rehab powder coat (gun metal) ........bwoody sway bar links, oil catch, breather cap w check valve, silicon upper lower rad hoses are on it now. Going for stock plus
My daily driver is an '07 Jeep SRT8. Not stock 140k miles faster than you
Nice! What’s done to it? For the elevation where I tested this one I was surprised at how well it ran. Usually big V8 cars are at least a second slower than magazine rated, but the AWD launch definitely helps.
How is it able to tow 3,500lbs without even having a tow hitch.
Lol, good question. You’d think for the price of these they would come with a hitch from the factory.
