One of the member ahyeon is sick. And yes this is their debut. She wasn't able to join this debut but she'll rejoin the group as soon as she recovers. Maybe in their comeback.

To those who are disappointed, because the "formula" is the same as Blackpink and nothing new...
Well, it's new and the formula is the same cause it's YG. It's like a family structure, dad,mom, kids, but every family is different but same structure, right? I guess to hate and compare is easier. Blackpink set a very high standard, they are the Global Superstars for a reason, and when they debuted they were compared to 2NE1, and knetz during that time (2016) said that Blackpink can never be like 2NE1 and YG made a mistake in disbanding 2NE1, well, we all can see what happened after 7 years, no group can boy/ girl have achieved what Blackpink have reached so far, and they are just starting. I am not saying that Babymonster will be better than Blackpink, because Blacpink is A Phenomenon, Blackpink is legendary. Blackpink is already in kpop history, but Babymonster will definitely make a mark and as i know how talented they are, i can honestly say, they will follow Blackpink's footsteps and globally appreciated and praised. Let's wait and see.😊

Same agency with blackpink! Please check other stuff from baby monster. If you want to know more about them there is baby monster last evaliation ep 1 -8 on youtube like 20 mins each. Or live dance performance of Scars to your beautiful, Jennie on the block, or Dream.. There are 7 member but only 6 debuted due to ahyeon personal health reasons. 6 out of 7 are minor, chiquita "The ice princess" in this MV is the youngest is 14 years old. Trained at YG entertainment when was was 12 years old or so while the other girls trained a bit over 4 years before debut. They come from the top 3 giant entertainment agency of south korea and asia basically. Same company as the world biggest girl group: Black pink from YG entertainment.

It's very ...YG. I do have high hopes for them in the future, especially when Ahyeon the ace joins. I really recommend checking out / reacting to Babymonster Last Evaluation 8 episode series.
It's defo a grower. It took me a couple of listens. The chorus feels kinda empty.
I don't know why, but their songs can't connect with my ears even though I hear them as often as possible. To be honest, their song lyrics and rap are very good, that's why I'm disappointed that my ears can't like the song, even though I've been waiting for their debut for a long time.
I agree, there is just something about this song that I can't seem to fully enjoy for some reason. Idk if it's missing something but I can't seem to get into it.

I don't want this to sound rude or disrespectful, but IMO it sounds like Blackpink 2.0. I know fans don't like comparisons, but listen to the structure, sections of the song, and the overall sound, it's very much Blackpink 2nd generation. I was hoping they'd sound a little more unique, considering the extremely good talent this group has. The girls have awesome talent, but I feel they are being mismanaged already by copying the Blackpink formula. It's a shame IMO, cause it's not the girls fault, they have the talent. I want them to be unique, and this isn't unique. /shrug

It's not the Blackpink formula, it's the YG FORMULA. Listen to most of their groups and they have the same song structure it's not just BP, just saying though.

Sounds too much like a recycled Blackpink/Lisa song, complete with recycled ad libs, repetitious lyrics, drops and beats. I expected much more originality from Babymonster's debut song, especially when you compare it to 2NE1's Fire and Blackpink's Boombayah.

That's how YG song structures though, it's not just BP, just look up the other groups from YG and y'all understand they have the same structure. y'all acting like BP owned this song structure imo, when it started way back to 2nd generation group with 2ne1 and BigBang.

Actually, i can't hear BP sound at all in this MV. It's doesn't sound EDM this is hip hop, first. Second, teddy didn't didn't participate in this music. Third, it's more like treasure, Ikon and Bigbang music with the party ending. I don't really like that part tbh. Kinda ruined the vibes, everything was okay. But overall i would say it was a banger. They killed it. 8/10 i will say.
