As a sage main I can confirm this is how most of the sages mostly die in Fracture Defence, our breach is watching main and we are watching arcade, he hides after watching enemy without giving any info and we get back stabbed

One of the biggest problems I saw in the fracture game was having only viper as smokes. It reallx hurt them multiple times. But of course that can happen in ranked too with randoms

D3 here. Most of my friends are gold also, so as someone with experience in both camps I wasn’t surprised by anything in this video. It’s a pretty honest representation of the different ranks. I think people inflate diamonds skill potential and gold is just a very wild pool of different skill.
They need to add a rank between gold and bronze. I’m thinking something like iron, copper, bronze, silver, gold.

After watching so many vod reviews, ive realized what makes an elite player elite.
Aim, cross hair placement, proper strafe when peeking, recognizing fights in your favor (60/40 instead of 50/50), calmness, timing of util, playing off teammates, comms (preround strats, enemy location, enemy util used). And last but not least, mentality/perspective. Elite players play to learn before they play to win, blaming others before you blame yourself only leads to no growth or improvement.
I will say as a "better gold" player other than bad matchmaking i can admit overconfidence and consistency is usually the killer for otherwise diamond or plat players.
i think av mayuki is the only one who deserves a higher rank but wouldnt give anything above plat. you need more than good aim to become a good high rank player and none of them seem to be able to play off of each other and seem very uncoordinated. all of them are ego peeking everything and aside from jett, all their util usage was very poor
tbf diamond is pretty much gold now. I dont see much of a mech skill gap between the two. Maybe diamonds are a bit more consistent and util conservative but not much to make a huge difference
Bro both the matches u can see clear difference diamonds didn't play seriously maximum to maximum 2 rounds they might have also 2nd match they were literally trolling . The difference is there in crosshair placement and game sense aim was okayish , they deserve gold 3 max maybe Plat 1 for Jett it was pretty evident from the UA-cam video can't imagine love stream

diamond is really not "pretty much gold now". if you only look at the mechanics, like aim then yes you wont see much of a difference. But you're looking at the wrong thing. Game sense is much more important in valorant, you could get to immortal with good game sense even if you have the aim of a gold because things like crosshair placement (which, imo is more game sense than aim) are much more important that just raw mechanical skill. Not that raw mechanical skill isn't also good, just less important.
Thats exactly what I was just getting at in lower elo the skill gap between them is sm smaller than it was because ppl are becoming more knowledgeable in all the right things

people in low elo dont understand that A. aim is barely a game changer, from dia to immo it doesnt change much, and B. their idea of good game sense is completely wrong, watching them you can point out 5 or 6 errors A ROUND

i mean those gold or silvers players did deserve diamonds most of the time competitive is based on great teamwork if you wanna win so i recommend do competitive with some friends so you both have good communication and can vc so you can communicate whats actually happening in the game rather then not communicating at all, thats the main reason i think these silver players havent gotten diamond or above since they dont really rely on good teamwork
as a neon main, the only tip I have to give is for them to stop looking down, practice moving their mouse smoother and much lengthier and to stop going to places that aren't much spacious,coming from an iron 3 peak bronze 1 neon main Lmao

or just point out one small mistake (no clue what your issue is with round 12) that even higher elo people do and conclude no gamesense, that works too i guess

The biggest problem was taking space. They already had space in defence so they won't quite a bit. But when in attack they don't have the confidence to push in as their mechanics aren't consistent obviously

Gone are the days where u can differentiate silver and immortal aim. All these people being amazed at golds outdueling diamonds; silvers outdueling immortals are a lot more common than u might like to believe :/

If you ask me the lower elo ranks are actually demons at times. Even excluding smurfs. There is such a large pool of people just like these guys here who have all the right peices, but are held back by their team. My elo (iron-bronze) my mentality going into comp is I either need to carry my team or my team us so bad I can't. I regularly play with silvers golds and plats and do alr but it's very hard to get out of low ego because of the amount of things holding you back
u can't get plats in your elo unless 5 stack or they de ranked that much

Lot of people are in a Rank they don't belong to. Over time they'll get pushed out if they keep grinding if they don't belong though. Plenty of people got carried/boosted or stacked their games to get their MMR. Solo que relies on RNG. If you're better than your rank just gotta keep grinding even through bad luck if necessary. Would recommend finding people to play with if you want to win more games in general.

as someone who has floated around low asc, dia, and high plat for awhile now, plat is the hardest ranks. because of the mmr system and also because of the fact every game in lower ranks, you have trolls, no comms, boosted shitters, and insane ego players who get mad. all of these things also happen at higher ranks, but much more commonly you will get legit val matches with comms, teamplay, and people trying. lower ranks, its every fucking game basically. and if ur team doesnt have the good players, the enemy team will. also riot fixes mmr to be around 50% WR lololol

I'm gonna be real here. I'm a solo p3 almost got d1 last act and I'm not even that good but none of these golds, silvers deserve diamond at all. they play like the players in silver gold that makes that elo a living hell. that sage died like 4 times because people didn't cover his back despite facing the right place, that jett had no balls to actually take a fight, that neon thinks he's shmoving but he's just 360ing at the same spot, viper was just lucky he does know how to play his util and that seemed like the only one that knew what his util is for. for me only the breach was deserving of gold or plat.

I might be rude but as a neon main that neon was just not it. Doesn't know how to do any movement to make her entries more chaotic and effective, only sprays and never resets recoil and very poor util usage.

me as a gold player i have beat many diamond players and i troll them saying i am iron. after the 1v1's they say i am not iron and i have a good game sence and i play like a accendent. fun fact most gold players are not good. especially the gold players in ur vid. they lack of game sense and their aim are not as good as it is. i would not say i deserve accendent or diamond. but i am saying this to tell u that as a golds perspective its that they do not deserve diamond or accendent. wish i could be in ur vids but i have school and i have to study. PLus the gold are just spaming ablilities and it hurts me watching them spam and their aim. they need to learn more of val and not say they are good and deserve better rank. just watch some aiming practice and learn game sense plus, its best to watch some VCT games and learn how they play. it helps with ur game play if u understand what they are doing. for those who sometimes wonder why people ask others for skin in game is sometimes bc it helps with their aim. i ask for skins bc some of the skins, when u shoot the head the sound is satisfying and that makes u tap heads more without knowing. thats me :>
