I first learned to play here, it’s definitely gone down hill. The green on the 1st was burnt in summer a few years ago and it never got repaired. Such a shame because it’s a good place for people just starting to play without a membership. Keep up the good content guys 👍🏻
Use to here a few years ago .. greens have always been like lighting..
I use to pay £12 or £12.50 for 9 ..
I now play regular at Owston park .. £9 you cant go wrong .
Used to play there a lot 5 or so years back and some of the tee boxes were shocking back then. Went with my son the other day and its shocking for the price. I wont be back. Shame as it could be so much better. Lovely location but very little effort put in. Great review, 👍

Get yourself down to Owston Park 9 hole golf course near Askern , Doncaster .About 10 minutes from the m62. It's only £8.20 for a senior . It's in great nick , and some very nice holes including a 500 yard par 5 and a 210 yard par 3. Cash or card . Advertised as the best value 9 hole course in Yorkshire .
Play there often mate, lots of videos on the channel from there, great little course. 👍
I've wondered what that course was like when we've been driving past on our way to the M1 from home.

Halifax West End have no restrictions at all at the minute, I'm sure if you give Darbs (Darren Arber the Head Professional there) a call he'll sort a deal out for you 👍👍👍
My business partners cousin owns the course . Tight as a nuns c… - won’t spend on it - tee boxes are awful . Stopped playing it a couple of years ago as it’s not worth it - and he closed the bar ffs - who doesn’t have a 19th (10th) 🤦♂️

Good vlog, honest review , at least you did ask golfers about condition of course and thoughts of price. It's a shame with the condition of tees. Price does seem high,
It's upsetting because it was beautiful 3/4 years ago, really pretty course.
the t boxes and and the 1st and 6th greens have been like that for around a year possibly longer

@@TripleTgolf way to expensive there used to be around 10 of us that used to go up we all got fed up of them not doing anything to the course just taking the money and hardly no upkeep through the winter i get its hard to keep them running through the winter but we go to a few that has coped just fine they its a shame aswell as the location the views and the potential is huge for a good course a friend of ours has spoken to the owner a few times about making it better and possibly a driving range he's got the permission so he says but just wont spend the money on the place just sit behind the window collecting the cash
@markhaigh9676 That is a shame because like you said, the potential and the location is definitely there. Who knows, footfall or lack there of, may make em look at revitalising the course but it was still very busy that day unfortunately.
Whitwoods 16 Tony. Played it last week... 16 for 9...22 for 18. That's midweek. Don't know if it's dearer on a weekend... Beautiful course tho.
