This is the direction some orchestras should take to entertain modern audiences. I also don't understand why new same-genre (Trance) orchestra-specific music isn't being produced ... that many talented musicians could make some very relevant and popular music if they were given the chance.
There are actually a lot that are starting to do stuff like this. The Pittsburgh symphony has been advertising all kinds of collabs with modern artists, beetles tribute nights, and other similar special events.

Didn't expect ANYTHING before clicking this video... but this one blew my mind! :D Reminds me of acapella somehow... there are some non-instrumental-cover songs that are even cooler than the original. ^^ This one is really good... not sure wether to stick to the original or to this one. Hmm... I am not into instruments that much... but watching this makes me think that playing these instruments to that song is an act of blank force... those finger muscles must get stressed and tired as hell playing a theme THAT fast on accordion. So much speed... not common for that instrument. And why are there so many english speaking people here? This song is made in germany... I'd expect more german comments... but I only find english ones (I am german btw... just mentioning before somebody might ask why I say this)...
