Why is so hard to find plain jane’s with grey under bills anymore that aren’t retro’s?
2007 was the 1st season that MLB switched to black UV's and black sweatbands for their on-field fitteds, some teams had started the trend before that though. Some started to experiment with the black UV's in the late 90's to help reduce sun glare for players on-field. Recently some of the specialty hats like the Armed Forces, etc. I have noticed they had grey UV's on them.

Do the retros fit the same as the present on fields or do they run bigger/smaller?
usually Bangladesh made ones fit too small from my experience, i usually have to go a size up on them. If it's China made they usually fit best like the on-fields.
@@TrenzUnltd thanks for the tip! I just watched your video on China vs Bang. I have to say I may prefer the bang as I have a smaller head (7 3/8) I don't mind the deeper bucket but I think the shallower hats look better on my noggin.
That Mariners hat visor is teal? It's the same color as your shirt?
yes it's teal, it appears different due 2 me filming in front of the green screen. it makes some colors not look true on camera.

@@TrenzUnltd i have alot of feild caps with no "new era" on the side..but black sweat band..still holding up like new after 3 years !
i do also, i just like the grey UV over the black UV. i understand the complaint about the white sweatband with showing stains etc.
