Something you forgot to mention, is actually a pro for Spectora regardless, if you’re using the iPad or the iPhone, or a tablet and an android, when you’re done with your inspection, regardless of whatever device you are currently using, you can simply save your work, and then sync, whatever is most convenient for the client to you your end of inspection summary. So if you’re going to use your phone because it’s smaller and more convenient, you can very easily do your summary with your client on the bigger tablet.
Loved the video! May I recommend time stamps though? And product recommendations 😊 would have loved to have seen both of these! Thanks so much! Looking into your Spectora template now! Great content!
@2:22 I love this feature, but it could obviously be much better. I see you need to grip the strap between your index and middle finger. I recently got the Samsung Tab S7 and because of where the S-Pen docks, there's no way I can reach the power button to take pics. I think I will have to build my own case.
I am glad my phone is dead after an inspection. It gives me an excuse to take a break for bit. Even though I could just put it on the charger and keep writing...but we will ignore that.
Thanks for the videos. Have you ever had problem with iPads and cold weather? Both yesterday and today, battery life goes to zero very fast. Temp in the mid 30s.
@@ethanpine9443when doing an inspection in the app it does not require internet. Before you go to an inspection just make sure the template is downloaded and you can use it offline.
By the time you buy a powerful enough tablet to run your software and all those other accessories that you need just to make a tablet functional during the home inspection. How much are we talking two grand per device? For me I don't see that as a good investment just so the client can have a little bit bigger of a screen. I doubt a bigger screen is making or breaking a home inspector.

What requirements should I consider when buying a tablet
Looks great on the iPad! What program do you use?
Pretty sure it’s Spectora
Thanks for the info! I’ve been researching getting my inspectors license in Florida. This was very helpful!!!

Thank you for the video. Just before I seen the video I was thinking WHAT should I use 😀 you just help me out. Thanks!

Can you tell me where you purchased your tablet case with the strap?
Nice review, what software are you using on your Ipad?
Thank you for the review, appreciate it
Great video. I am just starting out. Is it safe to assume that you are using spectora software? Trying to decide for myself what to use.
Assuming you have picked one. What are you using?
Did you guys upgrade the strap? Thanks.
Thanks for the videos.

Not cold weather, but hot weather yes. If you leave it in the sun, it'll overheat.
How do I go about getting one of those Tablets ????
Gary M.
Bust Buy has a sale right now.
iPad mini or similar tablet is a good compromise. As someone else said, you can sync and do the review on a laptop or large tablet.
Can you tell me what kind of tablet you are using for your video. I'm looking to invest in a tablet similar to the one with straps you showed us.
Which software do you recommend?
Great video. Thank you. What model iPad and iPad protector are you using?
Thanks for the feedback. My whole team uses iPad Pros with a Braecn case from Amazon.
The best solution is the ipad mini.
Good presentation. What specific ipad pro are you using 11 or 12.9?
Thanks! I believe the one in the video is an older model that's a 10.5" but we do have 3 or 4 of the 11" models.
What’s a good storage size to get in the iPad? And is cellular a must or is wifi okay?
@@aprecisehomeinspection6544 64G plenty? Or is there an argument for 256? Thanks.
Why have cellular on them? Would you need cellular as a one man operation? You said the hotspot from your phone isn’t great?
For using a program like Spectora that requires an internet connection

4points of contact?? Wtf? Ya mean 3 points???’
Cell phone w/ Spectora, airdrop pics to iPad for review
Use a Samsung fold best of both worlds
This is not a balanced review of both, and the arguing pros and cons for each device were overtly subjective to the opinion of this inspector.
Exactly what I would hope for. The subjective opinion of an experienced professional.
