You have two separate videos for review of QN85C and QN90C. Can you please provide a comparison between both of these?
nice that they finally brough back the centre stands.
Qn90b 75 inch here. Came from the 65” Samsung curved 4k. I never thought I would miss my curved tv( sadly toddler broke the curve)
Didn’t have last years TV but this one is badd ass no complaints
Your video content is awesome , and I'm really looking forward for TVs like Sony x95L and many more.
I absolutely love my QN90B. I have the 50 inch version, so no rainbow effect. It's simply the best TV I've owned. There's just something so special about the image it produces. The black levels are effectively equal to my LG CX OLED. I've never once been annoyed or disappointed in the black level performance. The colors, though, are better than those on the OLED. Rich, thick, natural looking colors that are more similar to my plasmas. And the motion using black frame insertion is godly. It's the first flat panel TV that has ever matched my Sony 34XBR960 CRT for motion clarity and smoothness.
@@sarpe7324 they have different panels but still completely same image quality
Does Quick Media switching work with this TV? Can you test with the latest 2022 Apple TV 4K? Thanks! :)
Thank you❤
The UK has a QN93C version which in 50" has a UHD Ultimate Dimming Pro which the normal QN90C only has UHD Ultimate Dimming. (Without the pro) do you have any info on how the pro version on the 93c is compared to the non pro version?
how about sony x93l ?which one do you like more?I'm not sure which to choose. Thank you!
Just ordered the 85” QN90C today for $2399! $2549 shipped directly from Samsung! Went to Best Buy and after comparing to Sony X90L, TCL QM8 and Hisense U8K I went with SAMSUNG!
@brownskinb5084 We have the same model on sale for $2397.99 through 2/11/24 with free shipping in the contiguous United States, plus we're an authorized Samsung dealer. If you decide to order one, be sure to give our experts a call at 800-860-3736. They can also tell you about any additional promotions we have running that can't be advertised online.
I heard that there’s some vertical banding with this tv? Have you noticed that, or any dirty screen effect overall in general?
nice video.
Will there be a video of the 50" version (or 43") since they're a little bit different than their bigger counterparts?
@waydown2552 It's unlikely since they're so close in features. The 43 and 50 can process 4k up to 144Hz if you're using a compatible PC, the motion processing is slightly different, and the audio is better on the larger sizes, but you likely won't see much of a difference in the picture quality. That being said, if we get the opportunity to compare the sizes in a video we'll try to make one to show these differences off.
Hi, can you please comment if there has been any improvements regarding the dreaded screen rainbow effect that was much criticized in the qn90b and QN95B? In those two last year models the 55+ inch sizes had horrible rainbows across the screen even with lights that were not even in front of the tv. Did you see anything like that in this new qn90c? I hope they improved the coating this year. Thank you
@adrianmorales425 We really only noticed any kind of rainbow effect when the TV was off and there were bright lights shining on the screen. Otherwise, we didn't find it to be any sort of distraction when we were watching content, whether there were lights shining on it or not.
I saw that they changed the panel tech from VA to ADS for the QN90 this year. I think this allows them to drop the wide angle layer, which contributed to the rainbow effect.
I need help i want to get either q80c vs qn85c vs qn90c but not sure which one is best i heard lots of problems with the qn90c any help would be appreciated
What do you need to get Google assistant to work with this tv??
I am loving Carl's review. Sounds like Owen Wilson :)
Which one would you pick between QN90C 50" and Q80C 55", both TVs are the same price!
Gr8 video. What is the size of the tv being reviewed in this video? Is it 65 inches or 77inches?
@roshanj.5332 We used the 75 inch model for this video, but we also have the 43, 50, and 85 inch models in stock. Still waiting for our first shipment of the 55 and 65 inch units to arrive.
Thanks for the reply. Please do make a detailed comparison and review against Samsung qn90b from last here.
75inches feels like you are looking through a window though.
Do you guys happen to know any information about the new feature they supposed to have called "Auto HDR Remastering". It doesn't seem to exist as an option in picture mode. Is it always on with no choice to turn on or off? Is it coming later via firmware? Would seem odd to me if it's forced on behind the scenes (so to speak) without option to use it or not.
If you have the ability to go into service menu you could see how many dimming zones the TV have. That would be great. Lots of speculation if the QN90C has the same or reduced zones compared to QN90B from last year.
@loki76 Auto HDR Remastering is activated when you turn on the Intelligent Mode, so you can't turn it on and off as an individual feature.
@@abtelectronics Oh, didn't know that. What does intelligent mode do? Does this Auto HDR work on any movies and shows no matter what device is used. For example using Shield and Netflix?
If you have time, maybe show it in the 900C overview? Unless video is already done.
I want an 85 inch but do U think the improvements are a big enough jump to choose a qn90c over a qn90b? The qn90b 85" currently being only $2800 at bestbuy vs the qn90c 85" at $4,800! I've also heard the qn95c is significantly improved and surprising this year but no reviews out yet so I don't know if I should wait for black friday or just buy the qn90b now if its still a really good option?
Never a good idea to buy as soon as it has been released. Wait until Fall or buy the 90b now.
@dshawnspjute6305 The QN90B is still a great TV, so now is a really good time to buy since the pricing is coming down. We still have these in stock too. Make sure you contact our experts here at the store before making your purchase to hear about any promotions we can't advertise on our website: www.abt.com/help/contact-us
I bought the 55 90b yeasterday for 1500 what a steal tvs incredible youre eyes won't notice a difference from this new version to last year's I was in store an couldn't tell the difference both incredible only difference is price get the 90b
Where is the manual power button on this tv?
Samsung is also just releasing the G70C monitor, which can also be used as a Smart TV. The screen has very good anti-reflective properties. Since I'm very annoyed by all the reflective TVs, I'm thinking about getting this as a TV replacement. The only noticeable drawback would be that the sound properties are worse (no Atmos etc.). Therefore, the 90C would also be a possibility if the anti-reflective coating has become better than the 90B. Is that the case? I would be grateful for feedback
@jensb.5897 We found it to be better on the QN90C than the 90B, but you can still see some rainbowing in dark scenes. As far as handling the reflections though, it does a very good job.
@@abtelectronics Thank you very much. No, I'm not in the mood for rainbows. Since I've heard good things about the G70c, which has a matte display, I'll give it a shot; it's a monitor, but since it comes with Samsung's TV-Plus app, I can use it to access all the providers I'm interested in just as well. And he even has HDMI earc, so I can connect my Firestick via soundbar.
I'm so confused about this rainbow effect. I have a 2018 Q9FN 75" and it handles reflections pretty well without any rainbows, even if the viewing angle isn't great. With the rainbow effect, is it even with ambient light coming in through the window? Will it occur if there is no light above the TV and no light in front of the TV? If there is a light to the side of the TV, but it is literally 90 degrees off to the side so that it isn't at all shining on the TV, will there still be a rainbow? Is the rainbow just unavoidable?
On a side note, I really wish you guys shipped to Guadalajara, Mexico. Sometimes on your website it says you do ship internationally, other times like now it says only in the US. I know that there are a couple of Samsung online dealers that do ship internationally, but you guys have a good reputation.
What's the difference between samsung qn90c and qn93c?
Is this thing bluetooth compatible and all that? I have a pair of Sony WX-10005s (or whatever the newest series of their headset is called) and I pretty much use that for all my TV watching because I live in an apartment and don't want to disturb others
@Joshua Yes, this is compatible with bluetooth headsets. Those Sony's should work great.
Great video. Please advise which gives superiir picture quality out of the QN90C or the S95C as im after an upgrade and cant make up my mind.
S95C is Oled, QN90C is miniLED, there’s no comparison S95C wins Picture quality by far, but the QN90C is future proofing as Oled technology always has risk of burn-in.
@@ShadiFagihi Ok thanks. I have an ambient front room so a little worried oled wont be bright enough but the G3 looks amazing on the brief previews.
@sj460162 You shouldn't have any trouble with the brightness going with the S95C. It will still look great in a well lit room. The QN90C is an awesome TV as well, but the black levels on that S95C are hard to beat.
@@abtelectronics Just briefly..I just watched a video by a guy valled Quantom tv and he said the tv was absolutely dreadful? I cant imagine its this bad if you praise it.
I more trust your review...I dont know why he hates it??
Any idea of the ms response time on the 43" ? as I'm seeing conflicting results on several reviews , I'm looking to get a 50"samsung gaming tv but can't make my mind up !
@almightylenbo1 The only thing we can test with accuracy is input lag at 1080p/60Hz. We don't have a proper device to test 4K/120Hz yet.
@Abt Electronics input lag would be great if you have the time to test,
as I probably won't purchase the Qn90c until I see what the new model has to over as the qn90b canbe picked up for half the price and if there pretty much the same I'll probably go with that 🙂
@almightylenbo1 We don't have the 43 inch model on display at our store yet. As soon as it's on the floor we'll try and get numbers for you.
I’m torn between getting the QN85 or the QN90. The QN85 doesn’t have anti glare but the QN90 does is that worth the extra money in getting?
@djwee-wooentertainmentserv8386 The anti-glare helps when it's going in a spot where there will be light shining directly on the screen, but the 85 is a terrific value if you're trying to stay within a budget. If you need any help choosing be sure to contact our experts at 800-860-3736. They can also tell you about any promotions we have going on that can't be advertised online.
Just curious is this a direct replacement to the Samsung QN75QN90AAFXZA? If not, what would be the 2023 replacement to that model?
@ed_10 The QN90C series is the most direct replacement of the QN90A series. There was a QN90B in 2022, but that was replaced with the C.
Что за подсветка за телевизором?
I noticed this was also marked as an Anti Reflection TV which you didn’t even mention. Were you able to notice that it has no reflection. My TV currently is showing the pot lights when they are on and its annoying. Thanks
Since the new models are coming out. Does anyone know when the 2022 models will drop in price?
I noticed some have already dropped significantly! The qn90 B 85inch is down to $2800 on bestbuy currently and some other sizes and qled models have also started dropped a bit in price!
@gilgamesh4048 They're definitely starting to come down now. Make sure you contact our sales experts to hear about any pricing we can't advertise on our site: www.abt.com/help/contact-us
Hai sir
Sony OLED a80l 65inch
Samsung qn90c 65inch
Wiche is this best TV.....? please tell me
How is the blooming?, The qn90b was riddled with it
The QN95C is coming out soon too, and that one supposedly has improved significantly over last year when it comes to blooming.
@andyjip6367 We found the blooming to be very tolerable on the QN90C. To us, it was noticeably better on the QN90C than the QN90B.
Do you think I’m better off waiting till qn95c release
@rodneyneal509 It depends on what you're looking for. The QN95C will have upgraded dimming capabilities, improved motion handling, and a slightly more powerful sound system, but the picture on the QN90C is pretty amazing too. And if you're going to be using a soundbar then the TVs audio won't necessarily matter as much. Value-wise, we'd say the QN90C is the way to go. Here's a link to our current pricing: bit.ly/3TqAe8x
I would love a review of the QN95C. Please
@charltonmumo-bl9pg We just received some 65 inch QN95Cs so we should be doing a video soon. Stay tuned!
Sirve con iPhone?
QA65Q80C or QA65QN90C better?
How much better is than the A and B models from 2021 and 2022?
@michaelwyckoff7593 We noticed an improvement over the B series from 2022. We don't have any of the A series left to put next to it, but this one seems brighter, with better local dimming as well.
He didn't mention the "Filmmaker" mode, or how to find the damn thing.
their biggest problem was the DSE. i had the Q90T and it was terrible, so was the A and B. So how's the QN90C DSE?
I'm sure it's similar. Honestly, I bet it's not worth the upgrade if someone owns the qn90a
My 50 inch QN90B is essentially free of DSE. There's something extremely faint that I sometimes think I see but it's so faint that I'm not really sure I'm not imagining things.
What is a good price for this TV given the current time? April 15th, 2024? 65" or 70"
@josephastrahan6403 We have them all marked down right now. Give our TV experts a call at 800-860-3736 to hear about any current promotions that we can't advertise online.
Is this picture out the box? Or did you have to do some tweaking???!
@brownskinb5084 We didn't do anything specific to this one, just set it on the Filmmaker Mode picture preset. We find that to be the most appealing, but we recommend trying out all the presets to see which one you like best.
@@abtelectronicssorry but do you know when this tv will go on sale again?? And if so when and how much do you think the price will drop down to?! I want it but $2400 is not affordable right now. I want the 85”!
Is it better or worse than the previous generation?
@xorrior4438 They're not night and day different, but we found this year's QN90C to control light blooming better and provide a slightly better picture overall. Opinions will vary, but we were happy with this one.
the 90 series with the 85 series pedestal...
seems like samsungs gunna phase out the 85 maybe next year because they lookin a little too similar..
You left out the most important part out, whether the 75 inch model had a ADS panel or VA panel. Samsung paid you well not to criticize the tv.
Have you noticed any blooming effects in dark movie scenes?
He's trying to sell you a tv from his company, he will not disclose that.
@fabiorobertodasilva8207 As with any tv that's backlit by LEDs, mini or standard, there is going to be some blooming. No one has perfected it yet, but we saw less blooming on the QN90C than on the QN90B from last year. If you live in the Chicagoland area you can stop by and see this one in person at Abt.
This the summary here 4:25
C3 77", QN90C 75" ... QN85C 85" :) Hard decision. 3,4m from TV.
Stay away from OLED. Too dim for a good HDR experience, terrible text quality due to WBGR pixel layout, and will get burn-in.
@@chiefjudge8456 I need tv for PS5/XSX so QN90C or QN85C 85". Last year QN85B 85" model have VA. It can be good option in this year, more dimming zones than last year model and 85inch:) My actual TV is Samsung KS9500 65".
My favorite is all these comments about too dim yet all the best rated tvs last year were OLED
@@joewozniak2231 Best rates by who? I own c1, x90j and qn90b at home and qn90b is huge difference between the c1. I also prefer the x90j for hdr movies as well.
Where is GOOGLE PLAY ???
I've seen a reviewer (Quantum TV) talk really bad about this tv in regard to "blooming".
@PhAtALTheKollector We didn't feel it was out of line with other higher end Mini LED TVs. If you're looking for something with no light bloom the only real option is OLED. As manufacturers make strides with Micro LEDs things may change, but for now LED and Mini LED backlit TVs will all have some light blooming.
just a specs list
The fact that this tv just went up in price instead of down is disappointing
If this an ips panel, then in no way does this tv even Compare to last year's model.wait for the ratings review
@truthx7 The QN90C features a VA panel with mini LED backlighting. In regards to your other comment about motion, we don't disagree. OLED handles motion better, but these new Neo QLED models do a great job as well.
Just block the quantum TV youtube channel and he claim qn90c all isp panel
Is Samsung just wait 6 months and the price drop 50%
@luismo347 You can also contact our TV experts here at Abt to hear about any pricing we can't advertise online: www.abt.com/help/contact-us
I just can't believe this tv is $200 more than the C3
OLED is budget tech. Too dim for a good HDR experience, terrible text quality due to WBGR pixel layout, and will get burn-in.
Well it’s definitely better than C3. C3 has better contrast but doesn’t hold candle to neo qled in high apl scenes but wins in dark scenes. In completely dark room c3 is better
@@lipiningole1381 c3 slaps this terrible qled. This model is worse than last year
I think the QN95C is the one that will be the oled killer. Extremely bright, has the absolute best local dimming with 2x zones compared to last year. Honestly this is the one I’d trade my oled for. Contrast and everything else looks to be the only thing comparable to oled…
All lcd/led tech is either a smudge or ghost fest in motion.oled is absolutely better tech
@abt electronics
Sorry I had the s900b of 2022 and the whole series was defective on audio, it scratched from 70 to 130 hz, loudly. Later samsung reveiled that also qn800b qn 95c qn 90 had the same problem. Can I please ask since I need to preorder it and I have 5 days of time if the qn900c of 2023 also scratches on low hz ?!!! PLEASE IS IMPORTANT AND URGENT
@andreacarlopecoraro4612 We did not notice any issues with the audio on the QN900C that we used for the video.
Just like black levels, there now seems to be an obsession with nits and brightness. We use to have perfect black causing image crushing, now we have brightness crushing. A great TV should have a well balance of both. I believe the QN90B is that balance.
That’s what the companies tell us to focus on.
