*I would kill to be one of those sexy sun elves.* *Although I'd rather be a sky elf, but one with wings like Nyx. Season 4 better bring more sexy elves or the shit will hit the fan!*
pretty sure the writers made us think Aarovos was a girl at first so they'd get all the guys simping, before ripping them an absolute new one along with a gay wakening for each and every guy who simped for "her"
I watched this again when I was a bit older then the first time I watched it, and I remember asking myself “Is this even a kids show?”, it’s very deep, and there’s a LOT of context that young children would not understand, plus Callum’s dream about quote on quote peanut butter sandwich dream
I mean those sun elves might be alive we’ve seen them able to walk through fire just fine but I guess lava is way hotter than fire so I’d say 70 to 30 odds
I also thought that Aaravos would be a woman. For one, because they didn't have a female or elf villain in the show so far and two; so there would be potential Aarava/Veris shipping.
@Ethan Wilde Nah, it's pretty unlikely. They're evil villains and therefore they probably won't start a homosexual relationship, since that might be offensive to the predominantly left-wing viewership, because of a history of gay traits being connected to villainy in the past. Aren't politics flowing into the media fun, folks?
@@earthbornparanian6252 Well, I say "Aren't politics flowing into the media fun, folks?" sarcastically, but it's true that it can also work in the medium's favour, too. Stuff like She-Ra and Steven Universe gained viewerships specifically because they put a focus on politics that many viewers agree with. Me personally, I am kinda meh about it. I am solidly on the left, myself, but I would be lying if I said that it doesn't occassionally annoy me how teaching morals plays a bigger part in animation, again. Like: the child-rulers of Dragon Prince. I absolutely hate both of them and I hate how they're both smug representation for how new, liberal ideas have to swiftly replace the old, conservatist ones, because they are just fundamentally better. I mean, I agree with the basic message, but the arrogant way in which it's done is just cringy. Some 10-year-olds being philosophists, tacticians, debaters and master archers, who are always right, because why not? Wow, that became way too long of a response.
@@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel My comment was also mainly a joke, as I was referring to how people are absolutely okay with homosexual and nonbinary characters being villains in the show (Catra, Double Trouble, ect...) despite what you said about the history of gay traits being connected to villainy in the past. I have to admit I sometimes get annoyed with gay and/or transgender characters getting portrayed as "the perverse gay" or "the scary transgender person", especially in a lot of Asian media as they also usually like to overlap with incest. ಠ_ಠ . However, I was still able to find some positive examples such as Jin and Pandora from Infinity Nado which is actually portrayed in a pretty healthy light (btw I have Pandora as my profile. :P)
@@earthbornparanian6252 Hm, not sure I agree about Catra and Doube Trouble being LGBT or anything like that. Though it is certainly more than a little implied with Catra. And Double Trouble is drenched pretty heavily in gay stereotypes. But hey, it's 2020. It might be fine for a man to be clasically feminine, without being LGBT, these days. Otherwise, yeah, I get your points and agree with them, mostly.
It was like Pandora from Infinity Nado all over again. Except that Pandora actually sounded like a girl and most fanboys didn't find out until they were told about his real gender. One of my friends lost it after I told him that his first "childhood goddess" was actually a boy.
Aaravos and Raylum are the only things a care about The Dragon prince, also HE MENTIONED ERAGON AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Edit: Rewatched this a year later without realising I had already commented and my response is still the same. "Shipping on a ship"
Ok, I havent started season 2 and watched this bit of curiosity and I knew that the sexy elf was a sexy elf man. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
"Omg she just burnt two people alive on a kids show" "OH shit thats a man" yeah thats a man
omg I never realized, Viren really does look like Handsome Jack XD
12:27 You Know what they say About Elves, Its only Slightly Fey.
team rocket reskined.....
Me : YES
Oh boi. he thought the elf was a girl.
Aarabos’ voice makes me swoon
Was i the only one who knew aaravos was a man from the start?
I also did
pretty sure the writers made us think Aarovos was a girl at first so they'd get all the guys simping, before ripping them an absolute new one along with a gay wakening for each and every guy who simped for "her"
PLEEEAAAASEE do this for season 3 too!! 😄
I watched this again when I was a bit older then the first time I watched it, and I remember asking myself “Is this even a kids show?”, it’s very deep, and there’s a LOT of context that young children would not understand, plus Callum’s dream about quote on quote peanut butter sandwich dream
Aaravos questioned everyone’s gender identity and sexuality
Not Sex Dungeon™
Excited to hear about season 3
I love how everyone but me apparently thought aaravos was a woman at first XD
BRISINGR! (only people who read the books will understand.)
@@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel
Yet they still like shows such as the new She-ra....ಠ_ಠ
@@earthbornparanian6252
Well, I say "Aren't politics flowing into the media fun, folks?" sarcastically, but it's true that it can also work in the medium's favour, too.
@@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel
My comment was also mainly a joke, as I was referring to how people are absolutely okay with homosexual and nonbinary characters being villains in the show (Catra, Double Trouble, ect...) despite what you said about the history of gay traits being connected to villainy in the past.
@@earthbornparanian6252
Hm, not sure I agree about Catra and Doube Trouble being LGBT or anything like that.
Screw the elves, Claudia is the best part of the show.
Raistlin 34 no
Claudia is also my favorite human.

It was like Pandora from Infinity Nado all over again.
Except that Pandora actually sounded like a girl and most fanboys didn't find out until they were told about his real gender.
One of my friends lost it after I told him that his first "childhood goddess" was actually a boy.
@@earthbornparanian6252 lol that's amazing, Similar thing is funny when u see comments on pictures of Astolfo from Fate series lol
"Less Handsome Jack"
I fucking love that.
Aaravos and Raylum are the only things a care about The Dragon prince, also HE MENTIONED ERAGON AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Edit: Rewatched this a year later without realising I had already commented and my response is still the same. WOOOOOOOO ERAGON BABYYYYYYYYY!
Honestly Amaya is half the reason my friend convinced me to watch this show. That and the lesbian queens. I’m a... Slat... For representation, also I wanted to see if I could understand the ASL because I was starting to learn ASL at that point. Still am. Maybe I should rewatch and see what more I understand
I know you’re being sarcastic, but am I the only one who guessed that Aaravos was a man at first sight?
otakugamer16 nope. I was able to tell almost immediately due to experience with TOG
Not at all. I knew he was a dude from the start ^.^
I thought aaravos was nonbinary! Then the voice threw me completely off.
No. I assumed aaravos was a star elf.
@@fumarc4501 Wait, is he NOT a star elf?
"Less handsome jack" sounds about right of who he is
Lol that voice definitely wasn't expecting that 😂 I was wondering what all the fuss was about in the comments but now I understand EVERYTHING 😏
3:55 my heart melted when he laughed
its funny how this show.. with 3 fairly short seasons.. has ships.. and a true ship..
Alright but real talk the queens are gonna make some killer cosplays come con season
BRO I ALSO THOUGHT AAROVOS WAS A GIRL😂 then his voice... oh... OH! THAT'S A GUYY!
