Nice, ya I heard you did pretty good on the snappa. We did pretty good on the salmon last week on the West side. I agree, hopefully I can make it to GA next time. Maybe with some remote work thrown in. Cheers!
Glad to hear that. The summer slump was real this year. I am starting to get tanks presentable and excited for the hobby again though. Appreciate the comment!
Speaking of aggressive livebearers my black Molly’s beat up my multi shelldwellers pair…😞also are you interested in some nice dragonbloods? I have 2 breeder boxes full and my breeding group of 1 male and 4 females are ALL holding including the male. I asked josh Cunningham about it, he hadn’t heard of it I have a vid on my channel of it, he mouths and “chews” just like the females and he hasn’t eaten for 10 days now just like the females, and when I feed the other 2 fish, a small convict I used to originally cycle the tank and a small albino eye biter, the male dragon blood avoids the food just like his females. Very cool yet odd. Thanks for the tour fish are looking great. I’m in Lansing if you want some fish🙂👍🏻
Thanks Pelham's Aquatics. That is odd for the male to hold eggs and not eat same as the females, but fish do strange things in the confines of an aquarium sometimes. I appreciate the offer on the dragonbloods but I'm out of room even for some of my fish that need bigger homes. It seems like a lot of people are breeding dragonbloods in Michigan right now so the demand for them is pretty low. Same with Polar Blue Convicts lately. Appreciate the offer and comment. Hopefully I will see you at some fish swaps or auctions this fall/winter!
Ich or Ick is a parasite that shows up as white spots on the fish. I have a bad outbreak in that tank because I sold a fish to a customer, who brought it back due to the fish being aggressive. I should have quarantined it when it came back but I didn't. Here is a great video with all the information about this common fish disease: ua-cam.com/video/pRSYzlOYNKs/v-deo.html
Great update. Definitely get burn out sometimes but just need to turn over the water until things perc up again!
Thanks Daniel. It's already getting somewhat better with some cooler weather setting in.
Great way to recycle broken pottery. We ended up with some snapper this summer (hahaha)! Hope you get a chance to come to GA.

Every spring through summer I get lazy with my tanks also. Have just got what few tanks I have a trimmed and presentable again.

Your dragonbloods are awesome too! I didn’t mean any disrespect, I typed my comment just before you showed yours 👍
No disrespect taken, appreciate the offer!
