Seen live twice since theyve reformed and they sound just as good as when they did the many times before they split. Great to have Ed where he belongs. Bring on the new album!
The boys are back and soundin' great ....greetings from Brazil....It's so nice to be aging with one of the greatest bands from my generation ...thank god you're back with the same old punch you've ever given to us ...the fans...waitin' for the south- american tour...See ya ....
Excellent 3 minute rock tune, full of energy, swagger and a loud comeback single. It grabs the listeners attention and gets noticed. Welcome back guys, pleased they resolved their issues.. goes to show you can't keep a great group of people down/separated for long.
I live in MD right next to D.C. As a special gift I was given tickets to see Live in Bristow VA. It was about 2 and half hours away. We were stuck in traffic the whole way. I grew up listening to Live until they split. I went to a small college in MD, about 30 minutes away from PA. Most of my friends whom I went to college with were from PA. I had a roommate from PA that kept saying, '"I cannot believe these little boys came from York"! Even though at the time we were the same age. Looking back we were all little girls and boys. They were awesome in concert. I sang with them and even cried a bit. I can honestly write this will always be a wonderful memory. I have always loved Live, mainly for their lyrics but their melodies were good too. I like the new song, and as usual I love the lyrics. I will write this, they could have easily played the entire concert. Not only playing their more commercialized hits back in the day, but the songs that were just as good in the late 80's and through out the 90's, that weren't played on the alternative radio's. Age wise they all look 20 or so years older, as well as myself, but that is not such a bad thing. They can create even better songs now ( much more enlightening then before), with age comes much more wisdom and experiences to share. Relating to my generation and teaching the new generations for experience's yet to come. As for the video, from my humble point of view, it appears they are trying to appeal to the younger generations. Most older bands coming out again tend to do this...…..I don't find this shocking.... but I'm in mid 40's so what do I know about what appeals to the younger generations? Right now I'm still looking for the manual on how to raise a male tween....
Wow, look who's BACK! This is amazing!! "Love Lounge" Once upon a time in deja-vu land I kissed you on the lips and sent you away Then I fell into the hole inside my heart Now you're back and everything is lovely Our finest hour like eternity But there's just one more thing I got to show you, baby The leaves have fallen, it's the winter The thaw of springtime is a long way off I'll keep you happy in the meantime Come to the love lounge, I'll be right along, yeah Shoot that... fear! Shoot that... fear! Through the smoke I see her comin' near me Through the haze I see the hourglass Hypnotized or mystified now I don't know So be gentle with my tender soul, babe Unless you wanna send me reelin' again Hey maybe we should find a quiet place instead? Yeah The leaves have fallen, it's the winter The thaw of springtime is a long way off I'll keep you happy in the meantime Come to the love lounge, I'll be right along, yeah Shoot that... fear! Shoot that... fear! The leaves have fallen, it's the winter The thaw of springtime is a long way off I'll keep you happy in the meantime Come to the love lounge, I'll be right along, yeah Shoot that... fear! Shoot that... fear!
we bought it! go buy it LIVE fans, they ask so little money do (dont do nothing illegal!), they're so kind to sell for such a tiny price THANKYOU LIVE, love u guys & i'm so grateful to have seen u several times♥ unforgettable♥ as all u create & are♥
This is what I like to hear. Sounds good. Back to the roots. Throwing Copper had the rock to go with it's profound melodies and lyrics. This is a great single right out of the gates.
Wow!! The Live band is still around gearing up for their 25th anniversary of Throwing Copper backing up the grunge masters in Bush!! They stood up for the Love Lounge and mustve reattained the hard drive and motivation to carry onward with a vengeance!! Well done!!
Lifetime Live fan, this band has meant more to me than any else in my life; I was positively surprised by The Turn, and when I heard Ed was coming back I was really happy... however, I was hoping they would continue with their old style like in The Turn. I like this song, but it’s not what I want... Mental Jewelry, Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi, The Distance, The Turn
Seeing them Tonight. I've seen over 50 concerts from Pearl Jam, tool, VH, blind melon, lenny Kravits, and more and in have to day the first Live concert Blrw me away. One of the best shows I've seen.
Wow!!! You know, I was so happy when I saw that you guys got back together... I saw a video on UA-cam of you playing together in a concert and I cryed of joy. I know you since I (and you!) was very young, and your music to me is part of my life, my history and mean so many important and beautiful things to me. I once met you in the early 2000's, when you came to a rock festival in Brasília, Brazil... I saw you guys the day after the show, at the airport, I took a picture with Edie and it's a trophie to me! I hope you keep playing the old songs and come up with new one's as good as this Love Lounge! What a great song! You take care and we'll see you around! Hope to see you in Brazil again soon!
muzzman31 couldn’t agree more, live is my favorite band and when I first heard it I was like, eh. But then I find myself listening to it over and over lol. Can’t wait to hear the rest🙌🏻
After binge watching all the old Live stuff, with all that youth...seeing this, the passage of time this mans face, makes me sad inside, because holy crap that means I've aged that much too...

Sea of love
I saw them twice before they split...this friday on the 30th my daughter and I are going to see them...her first time.
Bet she loved it.. i will see them with incubus as support this year..
It's nice to see one of the best bands to come out in the 90's back together making great music.
Great tune. Classic Live.

Pure dripping sensual was right there . WHOOOOOOWEEEEEE !!! Aged like a damn fine wine !!! All of them !!!
Yeah! I love you guys!! I've grown up with this music. Greetzzz from Germany and Poland!!
Excellent 3 minute rock tune, full of energy, swagger and a loud comeback single. It grabs the listeners attention and gets noticed. Welcome back guys, pleased they resolved their issues.. goes to show you can't keep a great group of people down/separated for long.
Cash grab, digital thin sounding mix. The Turn buries this in my opinion. Sonically and songwriting
@@dossman6 that was just live in name only, they don't even acknowledge it anymore it was that poor
You've done it again guys! Welcome home Ed!
We missed you Ed! Ohhh that voice!!
Good ol fashioned rock n roll!!!! Welcome back!!
Just say them in Indianapolis last week, they still rock!
lucky you!
Best. Band. Ever. Came late to the party. Only discovered Live when I bought Throwing Copper in '95. Ed hasn't aged a bit, lol.
theBlindKing Go buy Mental Jewelry - you’ll love it!
Already got it :) and everything else they've ever done
theBlindKing if this is your best band ever then your music taste is awful!
Awesome. When I saw LIVE was back,I knew they would come back with a goodie.
Nice uptempo modern rock tune. Glad Ed is back with Live.
Great song! Amazing guys. They never disaponted me ;)
Fantastic song! Bring on a full album soon!
Absolutely awesome - looking forward to listening to more new material and for your next tour in South Africa!
