JCB 8330 - Équipement municipal COTECH

COTECH co-director Alexandre Côté helped out the municipality of l'Isle-Verte (QC) when their snow plows were out of order. Thanks to Bosse et Frere and their JCB 8330, equiped with our GHS44, we have been able to open some roads for them.
It was the 21st of january 2019, after a big winter storm.

For effective efficient snow plowing you need 3 things weight , speed , horsepower , I have worked both 5 ton dump truck , motor 478 “ & 2-3.mpg for the road , with 12ft plow & 10ft wing & the grader with 14ft mole board & 14ft wing , to wing back the banks as you were doing !
The vid said how deep the snow was on the road , BUT you could see the center line , the snow was drifted in on 1/2 the road .
You machine did a good job - you too
We plowed county roads not the main highways
I asked my boss why we did not go diesel , he said because we need quick acceleration, because of the hill & corners

Si l'ailes latérale était plus vers l'arrière, la projection de neige serait moin importante. De plus, un toile anti projection (comme en Europe sur la lame avant pourrait atténuer de beaucoup la projection de neige vers la cabine. Finalement, des lames antichoc devrait être adapté à ce chasse neige.
