Got any videos like this on the ford lightning/harley davidson trucks 😅
Do one for the 2017-2020 F150 5.0
Facts… the 5.7 comes with forged internals the 6.4 doesn’t
No it doesn’t
5.7 doesn’t have forged internals
@@GloomToon actually they do, they have forged dome top pistons
@@StevenSimpkins-p7x the 6.4 has a forged crank while the 5.7 doesn’t. The 5.7 just has a compression ratio of 10.5:1. 6.4 has a compression ratio of 10.9:1 that’s why it can’t take boost better than the 5.7. They both still need a forged bottom end to make real power and when you forge both the bigger motor comes out on top
Wrong it doesn't.
For that shit, buy a C6 Bade Vette, slap a 6K supercharger and call it a day😂
Nice build! Now for the budget version, used SRT exhaust manifold, gutted cats, tune, NX Hemi 50-400hp kit, a tune, and GT rear gears. Total $ should be under $4,000 including labor for a shop to install everything.
While it’s in the shop, I’d recommend doing an mds delete and a mild cam
I knew one of the canned hp gang would make an appearance...
im $10K into my k24 swapped civic pushing 515hp and will SMOKE THAT SHIT !!
Get you a coyote and slap a supercharger on it
Truth
Simple an easy
Good video. Just a quick question what about the 6.1 Hemi from the Gen 1 Chrysler 300c. would that work as well.🤔
6.1 would be better
All that for 650whp when coyotes be outhere doing that with just a blower
ON 93
Yeah but this allows you to just build on what’s already in the car. Poor mans hellcat
What happened to that one Homie who used to always talk about this type of stuff? It was black dude. He was cool as hell.
Any LS with a turbo just entered the chat.
Bruh ain’t no one who wants a hellcat wanna hear the annoying ass sound of a turbo. We want that SUPERCHARGER WHINE
I've got everything on the shelf to do the swap on my 5.7 minus the cam not going to change that. Just got the new clutch in the tremec 6 speed. Gonna get it in this winter and tuned in spring
You can buy complete hellcat motors for under 10k.. no since in wasting almost 20k in parts and all that labor.
There is nothing like taking pride in building and engine💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 versus just buying one already put together.
congratulations you’ve transformed your town and country land yacht into a 2007 E55 AMG
A Big UP monster from France 🇨🇵👍👌💪😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇺🇲
It would still be a great idea to upgrade to forged pistons and rods.
ngl bro, i’m new to the car shit and your channel is sick
Lets not forget good tires with excellent grip for around 1-2k
Or scratch all of that and just buy a ls1 and supercharge that way cheaper and more reliable or hear me out just buy a lsa 🤙👍 hate from Australia
U forgot THANK YOU FOR THE FREE BUILD.
Now the car is probably 3 times more unreliable than it already was 😂
Damn if that’s a budget for this man I can’t imagine the price for going all out
That supercharger whine will give you away regardless of the badges 😅
This is actually smart because an R/T is way less likely to be stolen than a hellcat
And gap. Your. Piston rings. That is a very crucial part. It will save you from the headache of cracked pistons
For a 6.4
You need to beef up your driveshaft and diff/diffs if jeep srt or rango
Just to be clear I could take half that money, build a stroker motor/boost/ or even a mean N/A sbc or Ls, and build a trans and dropp it into a s10/ g body/ really anything and still have the same rating, faster track time and less money into the project
I highly advise everyone to look up hellion twin turbo kits for the hemis fucking nice as shit easy to install and it’s one stop shop everything you need comes with it $8,995.
Well if you add all up and say you buy the challenger with the 6,4L hemi for 35k you will end up with 52,5k in parts but the work also needs to be added to the costs. You can get a used hellcat starting from 51-58k ofc they have some miles on them and aren't the newest but the price you pay is pretty much the same
This is just the beginning of what you’ll need and not even half of the parts that you’ll need you might as well just get a hellcat you’ll come out cheaper after parts and labor and even if you do the labor yourself you’ll still come out cheaper just buying one outright, or buying a Whipple supercharger and having it specked and tuned the right way will pretty much produce the same HP.
I'd even add one of those stupid little louvers on the back windows long as it doesn't add too much weight Super Sleeper Street Eating Machine some of them don't look too bad I guess (the louvers) depends on what it's on but not on my build I won't knock what looks good to another car enthusiast though I personally don't like them but I'd make it look as close to a V6 as possible and straight troll 👑 $#!+
Or get an older 6.1 and supercharge that. Takes boost more reliability and needs less done to get more power
Just buy a v6 model that the engine or transmission went out for $4000, buy a 6 liter ls for $1500, cam/manifolds/intake for $1800-3000ish depending on how nice you want it to look, intercooler and piping $1000, vsracing turbo $1500, stock dual walbro 255s in the stock tank, snake eater injectors $1000, 4l80e with rebuild kit $2000, and operating system for it all $1500-4000 depending on what you run in it. $18,000 high end for a much more capable car. If you got this far and are a dodge fan, just save up and get the stinking Hellcat. The world is full of people who buy things and mod them years later and tens of thousands wasted still wishing they had bought the right one to begin with. I did it on my c6 base model and always i wish i had saved and got the z06.
6.4L max boost they can efficiently run is 8psi MAX.
Thats anywhere from 600-650 WHP
Want more boost . Youre going to have to upgrade internals
Why did my shorts feed go from
"Best Budget gaming PC's!!"
To
"Budget HellCats" 💀
The pistons in those motors won’t survive the boost… so you still got some more $$$ to tack on for better rotating assembly
With the cost of a decent challanger and all this, your total comes around the 50k range which is how close to a brand new challanger with a 5.7L or 6.4L. Very cool info but i feel like there are other cheaper and easier ways to psuh hellcat power with one of those. But im not a big dodge guy so i could be wrong
For anyone that is dumb just engine swap it and put the 8HP90 trans and the fuel pump
Don’t forget the upgraded oil pump that the hellcat uses
Fun fact a resets jailbreak makes around 6.5-8.5 mpg
Now the impossible task is find one that's not beat to hell
Please can you do it with a Nissan qasqai from 2012 😂😂😂😂😂 it would be ✨MAJESTIC✨
